The Monogram Shop

We ordered two hand towels and chose our monogram style and thread color. The next day the shop texted to show me how the monogram would look. They suggested style that they thought would work better, which I really appreciated. I just picked them up and they’re exactly what I wanted.

The store had some plastic cups in the window that I wanted to buy. I picked up the cups, took to the counter to purchase and was berated for removing the cups from display. So, I asked if there were anymore in inventory so that the ones that were taken could be returned. There was not. They refused to sell me the set of cups because they were "display" which, as a retail store seemed counterintuitive. Why in the world would you have something displayed that you don't sell?!?!?! Its called FALSE ADVERTISING!

On a visit from the UK, my friend and I called into Monogram. My friend, who is a local, selected the items she wanted to purchase, only to be given a raking look up and down, then completely ignored. I realise we were not the local millionaire type shoppers, but our dollar is as valid as the next person's. Utter and complete rudeness.

This store is amazing and one of my favorites in the Hamptons. I never miss it on a trip out East. The owners are extremely helpful. All of the products are cute and good quality. Great home and hostess gifts. I love the napkins that you can personalize and the ones they have already made up are always cute and clever. This store is classic Hamptons chic.

The monogram shop is the perfect place for gifts and great home decor. I would especially like to shout out Narcy and Yarumi who went out of their way to give me great customer service. Definitely shop here -- they're awesome.
