The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helped me get everything I needed for christmas. They have used c d's and albums as well as brand new albums. Great location. Nice atmosphere.

Beware of selling to this shop. The owner will lowball the hell out of you. Asks $5 for single LPs and $10 for Double LPs without even considering any record's market value on sites like Ebay or Discogs. Not even the minimums. Though it seems he is interested in defering there when he is the one doing the selling, as per his replies to other reviews here. I found it odd that he doesn't trust his employees to do buying, especially since he wasn't there when I came in. Instead, I had to talk on the phone with him, it was a bit awkward. I'm glad we have a record shop in town, especially one with casettes and VHS. The staff were kind enough but my view of River City Records and it's owner have soured some after the interaction.

Cute store with a lot of books and DVD’s to choose from with good prices! The person working seemed super friendly. Could have had a few more Disney related movies. They had a whole wall of other older movies but only a smallish section of children’s movies. Was still a good section though found some good ones! There was a guy in there that had speaker phone on and was talking loudly about (Jesus Christ) which was kind of sketchy. Otherwise super good experience. Will come back!

Always great finds in this location. I appreciate that I don't need to pull out the records, I know they're going to be a good quality record!

Nice place with plenty of options. The clerk was exceptionally helpful. Well worth a visit.
