The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. They helped me get a violin for my 7 year old (from measurement to rental contract signed) in about 15 minutes, even with all my other kids running around. The staff was extremely kind and thoroughly explained everything to get us started, and even offered a few suggestions for private lesson teachers. There was zero pressure to upsell or use their lesson teacher. I will 100% use Thorn for all music needs going forward. They are INCREDIBLE!

Bought a guitar from Guitar Center in Austin. They said they would "set it up for me" and ship it to me. I received it the other day and apparently at GC "set it up" means make it unplayable. Reached out to these guys and brought it in. Extremely reasonable and Cameron is the goat. Diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired it as I sat there. I will be bringing all of my business to them in the future.

This place has been great with working with me on 2 repairs/parts needed for my son’s trumpet. Would highly recommend!

Always pleasant to deal with fellow prro musicians at these places - Geoff ( zircher?) the manager/ owner was that guy - he knew what I needed even though I was buying reeds for the sax player ( which is not my instrument ) He explained it all patently - He’s also a fellow believer and not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ - thanks all at thorn music - Scott s

They were very friendly and helpful when I took my 50+ year Old coronet in to have the pads replaced and oiled so it would play like new. I was very impressed.
