Sweet Mother of Commerce! And I say that with such a tone of hope and wonder under in my breath. What an incredible place. Moved to Montana from Indiana; never in my life have I been inside of a place like this. I've been in a Dick's Sporting goods, a Cabela's, I've been in a Bass Pro Shop, I've been in an Academy, heck I even went to a Gander Mountain (before they went bankrupt back in the day), and I can even recall back in my youth when Wal-Mart had places to dine inside of the store... Scheels is like a place that took all of the entities that I just listed and cross geneticized/bred all of them together and put them under one roof. One BIG, beautiful roof. Immortalized bronze figures greeting you as you walk up to the front doors, their eyes almost giving a reassuring, approving look of "Oh yeah, you go blow your whole paycheck in there, big boy!" And you know what? A person really could go blow every cent they got in that place and be totally content whenever you leave. What a beautiful, incredible place. I bet these people that are native to this area don't even appreciate it as much as us foreigners do... Ya'll probably take it for granted... The thought of that makes me sick! How about I appreciate it enough for all of us? Please bow your heads for a moment; "Our kind and most gracious heavenly father, thank you so much for the blessing of Scheels that you have bestowed upon us. Thank you for the variety, for the effects. Thank you for the Ferris wheel and the dining area, the hot food. Thank you for the kind, polo and kaki clad workers who pop up and ask me how I am doing at every corner. Thank you, dear lord. Please bless all of the workers that keep that place running every day. Please bless the other shoppers and their wallets. And lastly, thank you for letting me life in the same timeline that Scheels exists. You could have put me in the middle of the Rennaissance or in the heart of WW2, but you put me here with Scheels. Thank you. Amen!

Amazing store. The aquarium blows you away when you enter. Then a Ferris wheel. Wow! I didn't have time to browse the entire store but they had what I came for. Just about everything you need. Best customer service.

Hands down, best shopping experience I've ever had!! 🙌 They were so nice and helpful. I felt like a celebrity walking through the store because of the way they treat their customers. I was, extremely, impressed and have fallen in love with the store. From the moment I walked in and saw their beautiful salt water fish tank, to the moment I left I was made to feel welcomed. Their staff was more knowledgeable then I could of ever asked for. Idk how they only have a 4.6 rating, they deserve a 10. To the staff that worked Wed, Jan 15 at 2pm and helped the lady from NY, thank you. This isn't just a store, it's a whole experience 🖤

Boots are great & employees are awesome!! They are helpful & know the products very well. Only problem is with Scheels policy of offering $75 off if we apply for credit card. I already have enough cards & don't want to give out personal info just to buy boots. Please find a way to lower prices without us having to release info - it's not perfectly safe.

I’ve lived in Billings MT for six years and today was my first time to experience this amazing place. I just want to wander around and experience this place more. The staff were kind and welcoming. The merchandise is a vast array of everything. The decor is off the charts! It really is a great place to experience. The fact it is employee owned makes it even better.

I've been going to The Spoke Shop for years, but lately, I've been so impressed with the bike shop in Scheel's I head there first. Yesterday, Nathan (I think that was his name) cleaned my dirty bike chain for free and made sure I knew how and when to lube it before I left. The Spoke Shop couldn't clean my chain without doing a full tune-up (which they admitted I didn't need) that would have cost me $100+. I was also able to get same-day service the other day when I came in with two complicated flats. The pricing is super reasonable, too! And I love that Scheel's is dog-friendly, and they play positive, family-friendly music (I think it's Christian).

This is a fun sporting store! We bought the grandchildren winter boots here! Scheels is so much more, however! We rode the Ferris wheel, such a beautiful view of the store, and surrounding outdoors area! The salt tanks are wonderful, also! Fun experience! We had the best customer service in years in the shoe, and boot department, Ollie should be given a raise! It is impossible to find such great employees!
