CVS

I have been a loyal Walgreens customer for years, but ever since moving to Amherst, this has been the closest for me to get to. Recently, there has been a new employee, Kayla, I think her name is. Although we’ve only interacted a few times, she has honestly been the entire reason why I have stayed with CVS and not just driven out of my way. She is always so kind and goes the extra mile to help me with anything I need. She truly is amazing!!!

During my visit this evening (12/23/25), pharmacy techs were super helpful and kind despite clearly having had a long day. I hope they're proud of their exemplary work and behavior!

I had appointment today, October 10th at 4:10 just for a covid shot. I asked the pharmacy at 5:10 for help, but they said they aren’t affiliated with the minute clinic. At 5:18 I asked the worker at the minute clinic for help and they just said "I have no control." The person with the 4:30 appointment was called and kindly offered me their appointment. It’s disappointing because a shot takes less than a minute. I have been getting my monthly prescription filled there since I was 12 years old, so it’s also disappointing to look for another pharmacy despite it probably having to be out of town. 70 minutes of unnecessary anticipatory anxiety to not even have it done was absurd.

The pharmacy people are rude & they actively look for ways to not help. It’s a miserable place to go with miserable staff.They tell you to leave a message then they don’t even call back!! So rude. I was there to pick up rx and ask if they might get the novavax covid vaccine and the woman wouldn’t answer. It’s kind of important as the mrna vaccines have been known to cause site pain for people who’ve had cancer and i’ve had breast cancer so it is an important question for me to ask. Just horrible people all around.

Snarky Pharmacy personnel... audibly sighing when responding to a simple question. If you don't like your job... do something else!

Front end worker was very nice andvreceptivebto everyones wants/,needs. Answered questions and seems knowledgeable

The same rude manager with the floral shirt and glasses everyone keeps commenting on just publicly humiliated me as well. I came in to ask if our non profit charity helping animals could set up a table at his store and his tone was immediately condescending, and instead of just saying no, he accused me of not being who I said I was and yelling me out of the store calling me a fraud. Funny thing is, his name badge was missing and there’s no manager name listed outside, so how do I know he’s who he says he is? CVS, please take action to protect your customers who live here and deal with this on a daily basis.
