JSSA Hospice Northern Virginia is a Stellar Organization and Team! They provide Gold Standard Care to each of their patients and families they support. Five Stars All The Way!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It is such exciting news that JSSA is now serving Northern VA. I have had the pleasure of working with Olivia for many years and she is amazing. Her knowledge, compassion and servant's heart make her perfect for this role and everyone who meets her adores her. JSSA is very lucky to have her and I encourage everyone to reach out to her if hospice is needed for a loved one.
JSSA provides excellent services for seniors, but there is an issue with how employees at Giant Food are handling certain situations. Seniors with health issues should not be forced to continue pushing shopping carts. Regardless of whether someone has conditions like diabetes or gout, the employees at the store need to show respect. While it's important for employees to respect the management and leadership teams, it's equally crucial for Giant Food to respect elderly workers with health issues who still want to be part of the workforce. Changes need to be made to support these seniors, allowing them to continue working at Giant Food in roles that suit their capabilities. Job roles and leadership need to carefully assess what a person can do before deciding they are incapable of doing something due to mental or physical disabilities. We all have our own challenges, whether seen or unseen, and everyone deserves a fair chance. A person shouldn't have to disclose all of their health issues—whether it's sore legs, diabetes, or gout—to justify a change in tasks. If someone wants to continue working but is physically struggling, they should be given the opportunity to do something else. The store's employees should be trained to assist and support individuals like this, regardless of how long it might take to learn a new task. If Giant Food cannot dedicate time to teaching and helping individuals with disabilities, how can they ever foster growth in their workforce? In a fast-paced world, some people may take longer to process things. We should consider using technology like AI glasses, which could help individuals with disabilities by providing reminders and information as they work. This would allow them to learn independently without constant verbal instruction. However, it's essential to ensure that proper hands-on training is provided first. By taking the time to guide and demonstrate tasks, employees will have a better understanding of what they need to do and will eventually be able to work more independently.
Dedicated, trained, compassionate people serving needs of vulnerable populations like the elderly and holocaust survivors, including hospice care and spiritual support. Growing fast as a result of their well-earned reputation, national recognition, high standards and compliance/coordination with government agencies. Visited their just-renewed building in Rockville; remarkable organization!
Phenomenal agency. Very responsive to our urgent need. Everyone we interacted with from this agency was caring, professional and extremely helpful. We could not have been more pleased and appreciative of their services during this difficult time for our family.
This agency stole my money!!!!!!!!! They promised me an adoption homestudy, took 6 months to complete it, even though regulations require them to only take three months. Caveat, I completed all of my paper when I was required. My process began last January 2020 and the written report was given to me in May 2002, and then surrendered their license 5 months later, making my homestudy completely invalid!!!!!!!!!! They transferred my case to another agency, but never called to tell me that my homestudy was paperweight. I contacted my attorney.
They're fullfilling so many community needs & you don't have to be Jewish to utilize their services. They accept my insurance. I've had nothing but positive experiences here and am so grateful.
