Customer Reviews
JOEY Woodland Hills has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on over 8057 reviews on Google
Place seems cool but also misses. The place is LOUD...which can be fun. But the hostesses are calling out names and you cant hear. Service was super slow and felt disorganized as food came out at different times, took a while to get water and our order in. But after that...food was great. Garlic bread was thick, crispy outside and chewy. Lettuce wraps were the star of the night. Highly recommend. Pork chop presentation looked a little sloppy but was cooked well and the rub and gnocchi was a fun bite. Creme brulee cheesecake was a refreshing end to the night.
Ava was an excellent server for mine and my husband’s pre-Valentine day dinner Friday evening! She was very attentive and friendly! The food was top notch which made our overall experience very very good! 👌🏽
First time at JOEY and I’m already planning my next visit! Roman was my server and he was absolutely spectacular. From the moment we sat down, he was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. He gave great recommendations, checked in at the perfect times, and made the whole experience feel effortless and fun. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was lively but comfortable, and the service truly stood out because of Roman. If you go, ask for him — he made our first visit unforgettable!
Wow! I don’t think I’ve seen an establishment with this many FAKE REVIEWS in a long time! Take a look at all the "recent" reviews and it’s clear to see they’re all first time reviewers (no previous history anywhere) and every one of them coincidentally remembers their server’s names?? Sort them by recency and they’d have you believe it’s a coincidence they’re all posting within minutes of each other? C’mon, JOEY, you can do better! Hard FAIL. I was actually there and experienced the food and service first hand. They were busy, and our server tried, but it was PAINFULLY slow… Drinks took forever, refills took forever, food took forever, bill took forever, payment took forever…. Notice a trend here? As far as our waitress, she was super nice and accommodating, just too many tables to work. The appetizers were great! The hummus was amazing, as were the truffle fries. Once our main dishes arrived the food was good, not great, not exceptional, just good. Portions were good. As far as atmosphere, it’s a very loud establishment and parking can be a pain, so plan for that accordingly. Bottom line, not sure if it’s worth a return to this location…
If you’re looking for a restaurant that hits every single note — flavor, ambiance, location, and the kind of vibe that keeps you coming back — this place absolutely delivers. The hibachi wings are the star of the show: grilled to perfection, smoky, juicy, and coated in a sauce that somehow manages to be sweet, spicy, and addictive at the same time. They’re the type of wings you order "just to try," and the next thing you know you’re on your second plate. Also your offered champagne right when you enter! I love that ! The chicken tikka is another standout — tender, marinated just right, and bursting with that deep, layered flavor you only get from a chef who actually cares. It’s perfectly charred, perfectly seasoned, and honestly one of the best versions I’ve had outside a traditional Indian kitchen. The ambiance ties it all together. The location is perfect — elevated but still comfortable, stylish without being pretentious, giving you that balance of chill energy and upscale dining. Low lighting, great music, and a crowd that knows how to set the vibe. It’s the kind of spot you walk into and automatically feel good in. And the best part? The people you run into. This place stays packed with recognizable faces. I actually met some cast members from a Tyler Perry show during my visit — super down-to-earth and friendly — and it’s no surprise because a lot of celebrities frequent here. It’s definitely one of those restaurants where you never know who you’ll see, but the energy is always top-tier. Overall, between the incredible food, smooth service, and that effortlessly cool atmosphere, this is absolutely a must-try. Perfect for dinner, late-night hangs, date night, or anytime you want good food and vibes.
Alexis always takes care of us! She’s so cute and kind and accommodating. We asked for her at the front and were told they weren’t taking preferences. We ended up outside with her anyways! While it is cold, she made sure the team was blasting heaters and everything was great. Martinis always hit and the salmon sushi is my ultimate fave!
We came in on a super busy, rainy night and Maddy STILL made sure my friends and I were taken care of. It was my friend’s birthday and she truly made the night special. She was so attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. The food was delicious I had the sushi and the steak, both so good! Thank you, Maddy, for the amazing service. Highly recommend!
