I sometimes go to Jaws when I'm craving tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). Today, for the first time, I added ramen noodles to the tteokbokki, and the noodles were perfectly cooked – not soggy at all. However, I was disappointed that there wasn't as much broth as usual. The kimbap (seaweed rice rolls) is also delicious and generously filled. The fried food is always crispy, and the sundae (blood sausage) is even better than what you'd find at a typical sundae shop. The only downside was that I went right when they opened at 11 AM, but there was no street parking available, so even though there was plenty of parking in the lot, I had to pay $3 for parking.

Korean fusion food! The tokbokki is super delicious, the fried cheese is great, and the sausages are soft and tasty. Ordering a set makes it even more worth it. Free self-service drinks! Restrooms are clean. 👍👍

jaws is my go-to when I’m craving korean street food! we got tteokbokki, korean blood sausage, and 2 gimbaps – more than enough food for three people, we were stuffed with leftovers! my mom and I are quite picky, but jaws satisfied both of us. tteokbokki was perfectly spicy with soft, chewy rice cake + blood sausage was cooked perfectly tender + gimbap with hefty fillings (our pick was the fried shrimp gimbap)! recommend⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice looking restaurant with good food. I love topokki, but it’s usually way too spicy for me. I ordered a chicken galbi rice bowl. The chicken was really tasty. Too much onion in the veggies and too few veggies. The rice was white. There is a water machine with big silver cups. This is great because it bothers me to have to ask for water in other restaurants. You can get hot or cold water. A young woman brought my food to the table. The food is reasonably priced and the portions are good. I’d much prefer cheaper food and less of it, than paying the prices you pay when they serve too much food. I didn’t much like that no one responded when I left after I said "thank you" out loud. The music they play is good K-pop. The lot becomes a valet lot really early. There are meters around too.

One of my favorite places to grab to-go Korean food. They have a few locations across LA. The package was great. I love the food too. Rose teokbokki was my favorite. Their kimbab is also very nice. This location is quite spacious and has trendy decoration. Slush was cool for a long time but I think it’s a bit too sweet. Parking is valet (something around $5 I think) but they let you park for free if you’re taking it to-go.

Got to come here for the first time! Had a spicy one and rose based one with some deep fries! Thought we ordered the vegetarian one but rose one came with pork in. But they kindly replaced it with one without. Honestly, I like the spicy one better with deep fries!

At last, it's my first time dining at Jaws Topokki in KTown. The ambiance is very spacious, vibrant and inviting with adequate seating. I am also fond of the cleanliness of the restaurant, which lures anyone to dine in at this precious spot. I immediately placed my order of Chicken Galbi rice bowl. It is decently priced below $15 and comes with a side of sautéed vegetables and miso soup. Service was pretty quick (approximately a 7 minute wait) and the cashier was cordial enough to bring my order to my table. My rating for the Chicken Galbi is 4/5. The chicken was grilled enough but was a bit dry. However, the fluffy calrose rice, galbi sauce and sautéed veggies saved the entire dish. For me, the side soup was 3.5/5 because it was a bit salty for my taste. On the bright side, I was able to adjust it by adding some hot water from their water dispenser. Overall, I still enjoyed my meal and nothing went to waste. On my next visit, I would love to try their beef bulgogi bowl, as well as their extensive kimbap selection. Jaws Topokki is a great place for a quick, healthy and authentic meal.
