Its Tofu

great korean restaurant! vegetable tofu soup plus tofu bibimbap combo is great together and good for two meals worth. if i had to just get one, i’d get the tofu soup it was so good. the tofu bibimbap doesn’t have much flavor on its own. if you’re vegetarian make sure to ask about the banchan, the staff don’t speak much english

We had a wonderful experience at IT’S TOFU in Irvine. The food was delicious, comforting, and full of flavor—everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. What really made our visit special was our server, Jenny. She was absolutely excellent: attentive, kind, and genuinely caring about our experience. Her service made us feel very welcome and well taken care of. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we hope to have Jenny as our server again. Highly recommended!

I was really craving Korean Samgyetang, and this place did not disappoint! The abalone chicken ginseng soup was delicious and brought back memories of the one I had years ago after a hot spring trip. The green onion pancake was so fragrant and tasty. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Really really busy (but you should expect it at an Asian restaurant) Location: plaza with Zion Market. We were sat down quickly. Ordered a mixed tofu soup and galbi combo as well as a hot stone bimbimbap. Ban chan was bean sprouts, mung bean jelly, fish cakes, kimchi, japchae, and dried anchovy. Tofu came with a small fried croaker, hot stone rice, and a raw egg. Tofu was absolutely delicious. It was very busy but we got served about a moderate pace. Enjoyed everything, definitely would visit again.

Easy in and out but make sure you FIRST check the daily open and closed times. The bibimbap is good as you can't easy find it in the area. The sides the come worth it are great as well.

I am extremely disappointed and shocked by the lack of hygiene and quality control at "Its Tofu." I placed an order (#295512433) for pickup on January 11, 2026, around 5:06 PM. While eating, I discovered a rubber band inside my food. Finding a foreign object like this in a meal is completely unacceptable and poses a serious choking hazard and health risk. It clearly shows a neglect of food safety standards in the kitchen. I have attached photos of the rubber band and my receipt as proof. I expect the management to take this matter seriously. I will not be returning and would advise others to check their food carefully.

We stopped by for a quick lunch and were initially hesitant due to the low ratings. However, the experience turned out to be quite good. We ordered the combination and spicy octopus hot stone bibimbap, both of which were excellent. While the food prices are relatively high, it might just be a reflection of current inflation. We enjoyed the ambience, and the service was standard. Overall, we liked this place and would consider stopping by again if we’re in the area.
