Customer Reviews
Imperial Dermatology has a rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on over 496 reviews on Google
I went to this clinic on Tuesday, February 17 at 1:30 pm, and my experience was very disappointing from the moment I walked in. The young woman who was at the front desk exactly at that time, the same one who instructed me to fill out all the paperwork, was completely unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy. She greeted me with a bad attitude and an unfriendly expression. Many people have left negative reviews about the individuals working at the front desk in this clinic. That many comments cannot be wrong. The consultation with the doctor lasted only three minutes. It was an extremely brief visit. I had to show him some of the skincare products I was using to see if they were causing any reaction, because he did not ask. He prescribed medication for dermatitis. When selecting a pharmacy, the system would not allow me to choose CVS. Using my zip code, I selected the pharmacy that appeared available. The assistant told me I needed to go in person to that address. The next day I went there, only to find out it was not a physical pharmacy to pick up medications. Later, I received a call informing me that the clinic had sent the prescription in error to a place that does not accept my insurance, making it impossible to process the medication. I immediately tried contacting the clinic, but it has been impossible to resolve the issue. The front desk repeatedly places me on hold and does not provide solutions. As of now, I still do not have my medication. It is unacceptable to pay for a consultation and receive that kind of treatment. The customer service is nonexistent, and the overall management was a disaster. I will not be returning.
I love this place. Dr. Bartos and Rosa are amazing. They really know what they are talking about. They have helped me with a few issues. I highly recommend them.
Doctors, office staff, office itself, and comfort level all the best we have experienced in our 15 plus years in Florida. Appts honored on time and scheduling is amazing.
I initially switched to Imperial Dermatology after my insurance stopped covering my previous dermatologist. My first two visits with Dr. Simona Bartos and the staff seemed great—professional, friendly, and efficient. Unfortunately, that impression did not last. What ultimately pushed me to write this review is the disconnect between the "nice" presentation of this practice and the actual quality of care and billing. I went in for what was supposed to be a routine physical exam, which turned out to be surprisingly brief and not thorough. But what I am most frustrated about is a cosmetic procedure I trusted Dr. Bartos to perform. She charged me over $600 to remove a few areas of milia using a laser. After healing and giving it more than enough time, not a single one of the milia was successfully removed. Three months later, I had to go to a trusted dermatologist who resolved all of the milia quickly, safely, and for a fraction of the cost—without using a laser. This doctor was genuinely puzzled as to why a laser was used in the first place and equally shocked at what I had been charged for a result that was essentially nonexistent. On top of that, the billing department is an absolute mess—unclear, inconsistent, and nearly impossible to get straight answers from. The administrative side of this practice is so poorly run that it overshadows everything else. I do not recommend this practice. Yes, the office looks clean and polished, but you do not get what you pay for—either in care or in customer service.
Imperial Dermatology is the best dermatologist office I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to several offices and received different types of treatments and let me tell you that I have received the best treatment and care from imperial. The staff is super friendly and professional at all times, they always accommodate to my busy schedule which is super helpful. The front desk girl Manuela is always checking up on me and making sure I’m ready for my appointments. This is the only place I’d recommend.
My wife and I love it here! Very thorough, clean, modern, friendly. My wife has had skin cancer before on her nose. We are seen annually here.
Just came here for my first time… I have been to multiple dermatologists and by far has been the best experience as of yet. Interior is very clean modern looking. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and Doctor Bartos was absolutely phenomenal!!! I would highly recommend!
