I’ve been coming here for almost a year now, and Amanda goes above and beyond every single time. Moving from out of state and trying to find someone new to trust with my hair was honestly intimidating, but she immediately made me feel comfortable and confident in my choice. She always gives me exactly what I’m looking for from the cut to the color, and she’s such a genuinely kind person on top of that. I can’t recommend this place enough, and you truly can’t go wrong with anyone here!

Loved Amanda as a stylist until she opened her own place. I made an appointment for color, sent her the money to buy the supplies. She canceled the appointment last minute and wouldn't refund the money. Prior to that, she changed an appointment that was for color to a blowout because she was running late. She will take your money without a second thought and not care what she leaves you with. House of Glam is a scam with thieves working there. I wouldn't go to them, and never offer to help them. Even if you have a written agreement for an exchange, you still may end up out a few thousand.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had visiting a hair salon. Prior to booking my little sister’s appointment we sent pictures to Amanda of what her hair looks like and what she’s wanting. Amanda agreed that she can make that happen. Upon arrival everything seemed to be running smoothly. I went to my car to wait since their cheap couch is extremely uncomfortable. When I went back inside to see my sister’s hair it looked nothing like what she asked. We’ve discussed it over text and discussed it in person. So I’m not understanding the confusion on Amanda’s part. I asked her if she can add blonde pieces to the back since it’s completely red. Her demeanor completely changed with an attitude and told me "no." I proceeded to tell her that there’s nothing but red. So she tells me "there would be breakage in her hair" which is understandable. However the part that upset me is that she then later said "it would take longer and cost more so." So basically what she’s saying is what we asked for and agreed upon could be done but she’s just too lazy. It was my little sister’s birthday I could care less about the extra money or time. Then she wanted to put the blame on my little sister telling me "this is what she asked for." NO SHE DIDN’T! It took everything in me to remain calm in that situation. I didn’t want to escalate the situation so I made sure not to say anything else and just paid the $320. I have provided pictures of what we asked for and what we received. I should have looked into the reviews on Amanda. She lacks professionalism, does not take accountability, and is rude. Some have unfortunately experienced this. I guess it depends on what type of mood she’s in. Clearly we caught her when she was having a bad one. This job requires you to be sweet and professional. She does the complete opposite. I’m genuinely confused how she got hired. I would never recommend anyone go to Amanda. Update: After Amanda saw this review she texted me and then 10 minutes later I get a call from a private number. She has now threatened me over text and has harassed me. I have also provided a screen shot of partial of our conversation. Reading another persons review on Amanda it appears she also harassed this person too. Amanda is also making false statements in her response to this review to not take accountability. I did not lie about anything or "discriminate and use vulgar language." She’s a liar, manipulative, and crazy. Don’t go to her unless you want to be harassed.

I have been seeing Amanda for my hair for over half a decade - there is a reason I keep coming back! She is fantastic at both balayage and vivid colors in my experience throughout the years. So excited that she and Amber have their own studio now! It’s absolutely the place to go if you want to stand out!

Amanda is an amazing person and a great hair stylist. She was so sweet and kind, best service ever. She performed a wonderful balayage, the results were better than the inspiration picture. I’ve been there 4 times and each time she has a great customer service and always love what she does with my hair❤️

Amanda did such an incredible job with my hair. She even got me in last minute which is unusual but I was super lucky and I’m incredibly pleased with my results. I showed her a picture and she absolutely nailed it if you’re looking for a great colorist with good energy. I highly recommend House of Glam.

Amanda was not professional nor did my hair the way I wanted after showing her my inspiration, I will never go to this place again. Hi, I’ve reached out several times regarding getting my hair fixed after my last appointment with you. I’m not trying to start any conflict, but I do want to be honest. I asked for blonde and red highlights, but the result wasn’t what I expected—I ended up with mostly red. I understand we may see things differently, but I will continue to express my opinion respectfully, whether or not you agree with it.
