Hong Kong Dim Sum House -South El Monte

Let’s keep it real. Looking for a grand room where carts offer up selections well this is not that. If you are looking for a place to order and take some dim sum home with you well this is it. Parking is a bit small but manageable. The dim sum is not sitting there waiting on steam tables getting soggy. They are steamed fresher for your order so you may need to wait a few minutes. We ordered the typical stuff. The ribs were ok as was the steamed pork bun. The dumplings were great. Good texture and lots of flavor. The fried shrimp was great. Ambiance can put you off a bit.. it is not a sit down location so level set expectations. Definitely will be back when I have to go into the office.

Very good dim sum. Good selection. Timely take-out with online order. Made fresh. Open early. Very clean. Friendly, kind, and helpful. Excellent all around.

It's not the best dim sum I had, but stored was opened early enough for the breakfast! Well, the best dishes I enjoyed were bean curd wrap meat & and sticky rice wrap, which I thought was really delicious.

Second location for the same name restaurant on las tunas in San Gabriel! Same menu but cheaper than the SG location! Hours: open early 7am! It is take out only. Needs to spend $20+ for credit card. Plenty of parking in the small plaza shared with a laundromat. Street parking available. Quick in & out pick up, but can call ahead for them to prepare food fresh too. Quality dim sum and very nice service!

Every item i have tried was exceptionally delicious, always want more(the portions are satisfying) the cashier made good recommendations.

Great for a quick takeout of dim sum. Go to the sit down restaurants in SGV if you're wanting quality. Price is good.
