It has been a couple of years since visiting my last dentist & honestly the experience made me dread going back. This place has definitely changed the way I view going to the dentist! Everyone was so friendly & polite! Very patient & I’ve never had a dentist visit where I truly understood what was going on or the work being done. I’m very much looking forward to doing my business here. Yall are so amazing at what you do! Keep up the great work! I’ll definitely be back soon!!

Dr. Teresa Lasseter and the team at Heart of Texas Smiles are absolutely amazing. She makes you feel completely at ease, even when you’re showing up in pajamas — she just wrapped me in a blanket and got to work. I even had a root canal today, and I still walked out smiling (that says everything you need to know!). Professional, kind, and truly caring — I can’t recommend them enough. Dr. Lasseter is not only an amazing dentist, but also someone who makes you feel genuinely cared for every step of the way. (And yes, I still love her even after she gave me a root canal today — that’s how good she is! 😅🦷) From the warm staff to the state-of-the-art office, Heart of Texas Smiles truly lives up to its name. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dental home that’s both professional and personal.

New pt here, first off I really really liked Paula and Dr Kuma! I felt very comfortable with both. All my questions were answered very clearly. Paula was great she made me feel comfortable throughout the whole visit and had a good conversations.

I love every single person here!! The care is fantastic. They make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. Jennifer S has been my hygienist and friend for over 10 years. She is a rockstar. Our whole family is blessed with their care.

From the minute I walked in their stunningly beautiful office I was treated like royalty. Everyone is so nice, efficient, & professional. My doctor, Dr. Lassiter is truly in a class of her own. Kim, her assistant is fantastic. I have total confidence in Dr. Lassiter. I actually look forward to going to the dentist. There is nothing anywhere to compare to Heart of Texas Smiles.

After not having dental care for more than 5 years and having bad experiences at other establishments, I went in with tons of insecurities dreading my scheduled visit. The front receptionist were super friendly and welcoming and radiated kindness throughout the check in process. Paula called me back within in minutes and made sure that throughout the entire process of X-Rays I felt comfortable, informed, and assured. Paula made me feel as if I were an established patient with how genuine and informative our conversations were, she made me feel so safe in her space by listening to my concerns and even going the extra distance during my visit. Dr. Kuma was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable! He went over everything in specific detail and explained everything to me in an amazing manner, he made me feel normal by assuring me my insecurities were normal and not as bad as I had originally thought. The treatment plan provided by Dr. Kuma and Paula were explained with no problems whatsoever! I 100% recommended considering Dr. Kuma and Paula for your dental care, intelligent, welcoming, and understanding.

Haleigh is an amazing hygienist. She is knowledgeable competent and will call you out if you’re slacking on flossing (with humor of course) She makes the whole experience comfortable Dr Lassetter also always comes in bubbly and covers any questions or concerns. Dental assistant Hailey is also a pleasure. Great front office vibe from Christy, Laura and Kalli. 10/10
