(Root Canal Patient 3-17-2025) I was in a lot of pain over the weekend from a molar! I called Waterford Dental, they got me scheduled right away, SAME day! The lobby was clean and well kept, they have complimentary coffee. I didn’t have to sit for 20 minutes to be seen, I was taken right back. Dr Banuru listened to my tooth issues and gave me clear advice on how to proceed. After a few minutes we were cracking jokes and I felt very comfortable. The assistant hooked me up with the TV remote to watch Netflix on the "ceiling mounted" TV. I had a root canal performed on my second molar and it went flawlessly. I was checked in with during the entire procedure, making sure I wasn’t in any pain or discomfort. For my first experience with them, I would 100% recommend Waterford and Dr Banuru. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. They called me the next day to see how everything was feeling. I really appreciated during my consult, they kept everything right infront of me so I could see the X-rays real time and the 3D imaging.
I recently visited Dr.Vasudha Banuru at Waterford Dental in Eden Prairie, their newly opened practice, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, it was clear how much thought went into creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The facility is beautifully designed, making the visit feel less like a chore and more like a personalized experience. The care provided was exceptional. Dr.Vasudha Banuru is not only skilled but also truly attentive to their patients' needs. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly, from the procedures to the follow-up actions, ensuring I felt confident and informed. The use of visuals, such as pictures, added clarity and really enhanced the experience. I also appreciated their dedication to preventative care. Their recommendations were practical, helpful, and tailored to my situation. It's evident that they prioritize the health and comfort of their patients above all else. If you're looking for a dentist who combines expertise with a thoughtful approach to patient care, I highly recommend Dr.Vasudha Banuru and their practice. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
I went to this dentist 2-3 times around covid, missed 1-2 appointments and THEY cancelled on me a bunch also. I was told I couldn't go to ANY dentist through HealthPartners anymore except one in St Paul which isn't anywhere near me. I also tried to call Ombuds office, they reported me to contact the manager at this location whom I left multiple voicemails and attempted to contact multiple times, with no reply. I will not drop it as oral health is extremely important and it can affect your heart. I'm being punished for this location having horrible employees. I have been a patient with HealthPartners for years and have never had an issue with missing appointments in other departments or been banned from getting treatment. ESPECIALLY concerning as it was them who cancelled on me and it was during COVID!
Dental surgeon has no bedside matter at all what so ever. While in the middle of having an extraction while my mouth was open during the drilling feeling completely vulnerable I was told by the oral surgeon "we’re just going to do one today since your making it a big deal". This was already after the snud remarks and grunts. I didn’t know that crying and tearing up was not allowed during an extraction. I’ve never had a tooth pulled before. The dental assistant was literally the opposite. However, disappointing to not hold someone accountable for their actions. With appointments scheduled several months out, out of pocket extremely high, and HealthPartners circulating their surgeons to other locations.. I’ve decided that I will have my work done in Mexico. Such a traumatic experience. No one should feel the need to talk to an attorney or file a complaint with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry after dental care.
Clinic called to cancel my appointment as the hygienist is out on leave, which is what it is. But, they stated it would be 4 months to reschedule and then said they are very short staffed and do not have hygienists so there is nothing they can do.. Blamed it on ongoing staffing shortages across the country. This was my longtime clinic, but it seems they have do not enough staff and can no longer operate this clinic efficiently.
Carly(kayle) is extremely rude and unprofessional. I’m in serious pain and my tooth is killing me and she would not give me an appt to see the dentist without scheduling a cleaning first. I have no problem with a cleaning but her tone was rude. She cut me off while talking. Would not let me explain my pain with out interrupting me, then she hung up on me. This person should never been in customer service, not alone a place that helps people when they are in pain. They must be desperate for help
Friendly and attentive staff! Both Sarah and Jessica at the front desk are equally helpful and communicate so effectively. I had a minor problem with scheduling, etc and both Sarah and Jessica were able to clear out any stress and resolve this dilemma quickly. The dental hygienist, Sue was also as attentive and courteous during my x-ray consultation and cleaning. Sue was very engaging and friendly with a positive energy. The doctor, Dr. David Lois, along with dental assistant Annette, were also equally as professional and friendly as their teammates, and offered a prolonged plan for my dental betterment. They do not skip a beat here at Health Partners in Eden Prairie. Dr. Louis was willing and open to my questions, and thus, answers were addressed and cavities were filled thereafter. I feel very welcome and comfortable at this dental office and would easily recommend the facility to those that care about their long term dental health, and overall health as well. Might I add that the facility is sparkling new too! Two thumbs up!
