I had an amazing experience with Jonathan. From the moment I walked in, he was incredibly friendly and even offered me coffee, which was a very sweet touch. But the best part was the shampoo and scalp massage—it was heavenly! More importantly, he really knows how to handle thick, curly hair. After the hair treatment my hair has never looked or felt this good. I highly recommend Jonathan! I have officially found my hair stylist 😊

He communicated through every step of the process, set realistic expectations, and was just genuinely lovely to interact with. The pricing is very reasonable, especially for the level of service. 10/10

I had a bad experience at my last hair salon so I was nervous going to see Nakisha but she got good review so I went. She took the time to ask me what I was looking for and then gave me some advise relating to my hair type. She is super friendly and easy to talk to and she listened to my requests and followed through giving me a delightful experience. For that I am grateful and very happy with the outcome. I would definitely recommend this salon.

atmosphere it was a very comfortable environment. stylist is very welcoming and friendly, as were the other coworkers and customers. was not busy, very calm and tame. stylist seemed a bit distracted but maintained a professional attitude. offered beverages and bathroom, lent my friend a charger. (cute dog!) hair cut -background: i bleach box dyed my hair. i scheduled a color correction- i went in not knowing whether i wanted to go lighter with my right tones (previous hair made me look washed out) or go darker. stylist suggested a middle ground, tone the hair an ashy shade, which will gradually wash out, which worked in my favor. the cut took two hours in total. stylist kept me informed of the wait time and what next steps she was taking along the way. she asked how i styled my hair and followed my preference to her capabilities, i did not initially like the end result but after playing around with it, it grew on me. pricing the total amount i paid came to be $300. the cut was $230, which was less than i was expecting, very cheap and affordable pricing. i tipped $70. after care i wish after care for how to manage my damaged hair was explained. the toner faded from my hair quickly since i was washing my hair often to compensate for the oily glands. final thoughts in all, i enjoyed my experience at this salon. i think what made the experience good is how affordable everything turned out to be. i like my hair fine and i got to experience a new place, i would not become a regular but i enjoyed myself.

After searching for salons nearby with great curly-hair reviews, I landed on Hair Artistry, and more specifically, Jonathan — and I’m so glad I did! He made me feel comfortable and at home right away. He really took the time to listen to my concerns and understand what I was looking for. His warm, easygoing nature made the whole experience fun and relaxed. I loved that he explained what he was doing every step of the way and even shared why he was using certain products (which were amazing, by the way). Super talented. Such a wonderful experience — I would definitely recommend Jonathan to anyone, especially those with curls looking for someone who gets it 🤗

I highly recommend hair artistry. Nakisha went above and beyond to ensure my hair looked great for my wedding. On my wedding day my makeup took longer than expected and Nakisha did my hair so fast so we could be on time and it looked beautiful! Thank you Nakisha for slaying me and the girls hair!
