Gonzaga University

Gonzaga has gone downhill by encouraging personal political views in favor of what the professors believe in vs accepting ALL students and doing their job by teaching what students are paying for! Likewise, professors are asking their students (during class), including one of my family members, to partake in protests and encourage to align with the professors personal belief including the one today (protesting against ICE), Friday Jan 23, 2026. Nothing wrong with free speech and peaceful protesting. However, speaking down on one political side over the other and making students with varied and opposing political views feel unsafe is horrifying. Let students have their own views and feel safe no matter the view. How come professors are able to put their political agenda into their teachings? How is this suppose to create a safe environment for ALL students? It’s not fair for those with different political views. Professors should not be able to talk down about one political view over another, especially in class! That is creating division among students. Students and parents are not paying for that crap. Go back to teaching and doing what you’re paid to do. Also, keep it safe for ALL students no matter their views!

Always room for growth as my own Catholic Jesuit and family tradition has taught me. ✨️ So that's one of the reasons why I didn't give 5 star rating but that being said, the visual aesthetics of GU and my own experience is top-notch! The student body and most of the faculty here are also mission driven. Highly recommend! Oh yes, and nake sure to check the wonderful GUEST Services for any event you're looking to accommodate.

I’m a student here, everything is great, staffs and teachers are awesome and patient. but except the dormitory, no AC mostly, poor ventilation, if you want to ventilate the room you have to make your door wide open and it directly facing the public hallways or areas usually. The first two years as an undergraduate is not allowed to live off campus and portable AC is not allowed for safety purposes so this situation is very unfriendly for students like me.

Beautiful campus in a surprisingly cozy setting. Love the mature trees, brick buildings, and ornate cathedral. My wife is attending grad school here and she couldn't be more pleased with the high level of professionalism, and quality of her education.

Visited the campus during a trip and was really impressed. Beautiful, clean, and full of history and pride. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, with a strong sense of community and spirit. You can feel the tradition and excellence just walking through. Go Zags!

I am a online student at Des Moines Area Community College, and I utilize the library here at Gonzaga once or twice a week to study, work on assignments, or take exams. Any College student can come here to use their library. You just need your government issued ID, and your College ID. I appreciate being able to use the facilities! Thank-you, Gonzaga Library and Staff!!
