Update: While professionalism remains, the experience has noticeably changed. Product recommendations are understandable, but the frequent pressure to purchase sponsored products—without demonstrations or proof of effectiveness—feels uncomfortable. Pricing is inconsistent, and while not explicitly required, it feels as though we’re expected to purchase and bring our own hair care products based on strong marketing. Yet, pricing has remained the same (or higher) despite this shift, even though we trusted the recommendations and supplied the products ourselves. Additionally, personal business endeavors seem to be creating scheduling conflicts, leading to rushed appointments. The hair care process itself has also become concerning—after washing, a comb is used to scratch the scalp, despite us providing a scalp scrubber to gently loosen buildup. This causes discomfort and irritation, yet proper exfoliation is skipped. While there’s no major decline in hair health, the overall quality of styling has noticeably diminished—styles don’t last as long or look as polished as they once did. The experience now feels rushed, impersonal, and more transactional. While I fully support paying stylists fairly, the shift in approach makes it hard not to feel undervalued. I hope these concerns can be addressed because I’d love to continue coming here with the same confidence I once had. ============================== Kind, fast, professional, and caring are just a few ways to describe the staff here. They do an amazing job with styling hair as well as recommending tips for care at home for all hair types and go above and beyond to make their customers look amazing! Regardless of if your hair is straight, curly, or coily this salon is friendly to all and the stylists are very upbeat and sociable with each of their clients.

I would recommend booking an appointment with Sally for anything having to do with your hair! She is awesome, very professional and has a great attitude. She was extremely patient listening to my teen talk about what hair style and color she wanted to do. She didn’t try to push us into getting any particular service done, she just guided the appointment and it went very well. The color and cut was exactly what my daughter wanted and we left very happy. We will be returning to see her again and look forward to working with her again. What a great experience (and we have had plenty of bad ones at other salons) for us. Thank you Sally for being amazing.

Sally is excellent at what she does! Went in with my daughter for haircut, style and coloring. My daughter has extremely long and thick hair and Sally was excellent working with it. Very professional and listens to what you want. She gave my daughter exactly the color she was looking for we didn’t have to change a thing. I would recommend her for anyone thinking about getting their girl’s hair colored for the first time. She does not rush or try to push you into anything. Stayed late to take care of us and had a very positive attitude the entire time. Will be going back to see her again.

Ms. Bianca McDaniel is truly an amazing hair care professional!! 😍 Both of my daughters' hair is natural. Our first visit to Fusion Salon, Ms. McDaniel made us feel welcome, and she took the time to properly assess my daughters' hair and knew which products would work best based on their different hair types. 😀 The end result was amazing!!!! They both had soft, silky, shining, healthy hair!! 😊💖 She is a platinum asset to Fusion and a wonderful blessing to the customers that she serves. 😃✨️💖

In the 10 years I've lived in San Antonio, I been to many hair stylists. NO ONE compares to Marissa. She is by far the most attentive stylist I've been to, and takes the utmost pride in her work. She custom tailors my color and cut for ME, not just some generic bob or highlight. I've NEVER needed to go back for a touch up because something is too long or out of place. She nails the cut/color every single time. I highly recommend Marissa for all of your salon needs. I've never used anyone else at her salon, but they have all been nice and friendly and greeting my upon entering the salon.

I set an appt up with Marissa. This girl has talent!!!!! She did an amazing job on my hair. My hair went from blahhhh to ahhhhhh in a matter of an hour. She is very knowledgeable in her profession.
