A fantastic school that immerses you in both language and culture, with great, positive teachers to help you! My daughter has been taking Japanese here (private lessons) and it's been stellar. Her teacher is wonderful - she's kind, patient, supportive, and personable. The lessons are well thought out and I've seen great progression from my daughter as she joyfully dives into the weekly homework. Add to this, the office team are great. My daughters schedule wasn't very flexible and the Fuji team worked with us collaboratively to find a day and time that worked. Thank you Fuji!!!

I've been coming to Fuji School for 3 years now and have been loving it! All of the teachers are fantastic and I can assure you that you'll get a much better education than at any university! The staff is very flexible and accommodating with your schedule and you can choose between classes, private lessons, and online Skype sessions! If you're looking for a great place to learn Japanese while making some new friends along the way, then Fuji School is the right place for you!

I have attended Fuji School for 2+ years and have loved every class. The teachers are so welcoming and excited to teach you about Japanese culture and language. They are well-trained teachers with a solid background, the lesson structures are set up to work with your learning style, and everything moves according the pace that you are most comfortable with. I have improved and grown to be a confident Japanese speaker, and highly recommend Fuji School for those interested in learning Japanese!

I've been taking private lessons with Hiromi-san, Nao-san, and Noriko-san, and I've enjoyed their style of teaching and making the lessons engaging and enjoyable. I had taken private lessons with another tutor but the teachers here explain and lay things out so that they are easier to understand and they are very helpful in answering questions. Also, the teachers have been very respectful and understanding with my progress and work schedule. Highly recommended.

It’s been about 6 months since I’ve been coming to this school. Honestly I’ve tried studying in a university but I haven’t had much success in learning the language. Here? We got great teachers, great lesson plans, enough homework to help you learn, and friendly vibes. It’s around $400 dollars for 12 week courses but it’s well worth it if you really want to learn real conversations in Japanese. It’s online courses for now since the COVID but hopefully when the day comes, there’ll be in class lessons. Give this school a try if you want to learn Japanese. I managed to learn Hiragana and Katakana in no time.

This review is specifically for Fuji School, a Japanese language school that is run from the top floor of the JACC. I have been going to the school myself for about a year or so, and cannot say enough about this place. All of the teachers are very nice. When you walk in, whomever is at the desk greets you and asks if you'd like water or tea(in Japanese of course) and they hand you a cup. If you get to your class early, you can sit and wait until it's time, but there are many other things you can do in the mean time if you get there a bit too early, you can always go to Marukai and get yourself a lunch or just a drink, or you could go to Yamazaki and get yourself a pastry. Anyway, the school is well structured, the lessons are well thought out, and the teachers are just as eager to learn from your as you are from them. Classes range from 2-8 people, and are an hour and ten minutes long. Unfortunately, there's no parking in the building, but you could easily park somewhere nearby, on the street or in a structure. If you park all the way over at the Little Tokyo Marketplace, they can give you a validation. You will definitely learn a lot from these teachers and you'll meet a lot of great people.

Just finished my third class and I’m really enjoying it so far. I’ve recommended it to friends and family! The staff is super friendly and the sensei is amazing!
