This salon is amazing! They not only provide excellent care for your hair but more importantly they teach you how to properly care for your hair. My daughter attending their teen workshop and she learned so much about taking care of her natural hair. She feels empowered and more confident about her hair now. I went last week, and my hairdresser was Lola. When I say she did an AMAZING job on my hair. She was extremely gentle, knowledgeable, and so kind. Throughout the appointment, I learned so much about my hair, and I have been natural for 15 years. This salon truly cares about its clients and their needs/wants. I have never been to a salon of such high quality. If you go, I highly recommend Lola as your stylist.

As a new client, I booked a First Time Silver appointment with Lola Fashola. I cannot fully put into mere words the positive experience I had at my first appointment. Lola is very gifted and an exceptional hair stylist. Absolutely outstanding!! She took me on a beautiful hair spa journey from start to finish (i.e., Amazing) and explained everything along the way, including the products being used. From shampooing, to light scalp scrubbing, to massaging scalp… to Olaplex treatment… to final style. She was very delicate and gentle with my hair, which I really appreciate. Just heavenly. Anointed hands. I booked standing appointments with Lola through March 2026. Did I mention that I am currently embracing my gray-silver hair❤️? Take a hair spa journey with Lola at the helm… you will not be disappointed. Flourish Curls Salon is a clean, peaceful and beautiful salon. I love the positive affirmations posted throughout the salon, especially Dr. King’s quotes and the friendliness of the staff. I commend Sess, the Founder and Owner of Flourish Curls.

Saw flourish curls on Instagram so I decided to book a big chop appt. The shampoo and conditioning process..great! The cut..great! My stylist great! And she did a great job with recommending products.. everyone there was friendly! The only thing that was disappointing was how the stylist styled my hair. She put gel on my hair,put me under the dryer for a few minutes and I walked out looking like I had a bird nest on top of my head! By the time I got home my hair dried with tiny white sprinkles all over because of the gel, my hair felt so dry no moisture at all. I had to shampoo and use conditioner, and style my hair I understand time is money in a business and the stylist did not have the time to style my hair besides putting some gel on it and move on to the next customer, but come on flourish curls! Again, time is money but at the same time u can risk losing customers

If I could give a higher score, I would without hesitation! My natural hair journey has been nonexistent for over 40 years and I did not know what to do and I was emotionally drained from dealing with my natural hair. I wanted a salon that would educate me and really give me a step-by-step guide. I reside in Houston, Texas but was ready to fly anywhere to start my natural hair journey off right. I looked at natural hair salons in New York, Boston, LA and could not get an appointment soon enough with the natural hair salon (that I chose) in Houston. I did tons, I mean tons of research from calling the natural salons of choice to see how their phone service was, to reading all their reviews and looking at their photos, stalking their websites etc.... This salon checked all the boxes however that was just the icing on the cake! From the vibe in the shop, the collaborative communication between stylists to ensure you are getting the best results, the service from the front desk receptionist to the detailed step-by-step instructions that Lataya took me through(and answering my millions of questions), I can not say enough! This experience made me love and appreciate my natural hair on a level that I didn't know existed. I LOVE MY HAIR NOW! Thank you Lataya and everyone there because you all are doing sooooo much more than just natural hair solutions... you literally give "hair life love tools" so that we can use them to enjoy what God has given us! Thank you so much!!!!

My stylist was Danielle Sneed. Awesome customer service and pleasant personality. She walked me through the process, explained what she was doing and why, discussed my hair and its condition and how we were going to get the results I am looking for. The consultation took place in the beginning of the service and throughout our time together. She focused only on my hair during our timeslot!!! Before she trimmed the hair, she showed me my hair, gave her recommendation, and asked how I felt about it. I appreciated that! The bulk of the service was in the bowl. The shampoo and scalp treatment was AMAZING. She cleaned every strand of hair, finger detangled in small section, the scrubbed the full scalp, and lightly massaged the nape and temples of my head. She literally coated every strand with the treatments as well. Listen....The bowl is where the magic happens. The service was great; no complaints. Within a day of service, I will recieve before and after pictures of the trim and style to begin documenting my hair health and growth. The drive is about an hour each way, but I'll be returning in 4 weeks to maintain the hair. (appointment booked!)

This salon was everything I have been searching for and more. They educate you about your hair and its needs, which is essential to maintaining healthy hair. I felt right at home and my stylist, Jessica, was very thorough in helping me understand what my hair was lacking and the remedies available. I’m looking forward to how my hair is going to flourish as I adjust my hair regiment.
