Duet Salon

I highly recommend Duet Salon 🙂 I've been going here mainly for haircuts and more recently, I got my hair refreshed with my usual balayage with a freshening up of a color -- this time pink. The main person I go to is Nonnie and she's been fantastic, making sure to tailor my hair procedures to be personal so that my hair isn't more damaged than it already is. By the time I came out of my appointment, my hair was so soft and essentially became resuscitated from dehydration and breakage. In my pictures, my "before" was my hair after having it done about a year ago, then I had just added color-depositing shampoo (Viral brand, Hot Pink color) once a week. My natural hair was growing out after a year and so it was time to do the annual refresh. The results were beautifulll and I'm more than satisfied with the results 🙂 The cost, as with a lot of places, was pricey in my opinion, but I'm okay with this as this is a 1x a year thing and going with someone who you vibe with, is happy with what they do (that matters! The vibe at Duet is pretty cheery as well), and does an amazing job personalizing the treatment -- not just getting the color, but also ensuring the health of my hair is great. Plus, I'm always learning something new each time I go there as I get curious about the process. They are more than happy to delve in.

I was referred to Tina back in 2018 and I haven’t looked back since. I am pretty picky when it comes to my hair as it’s a big investment and huge part of our overall appearance. Every time I’m in Tina’s seat, I know I’ll be well taken care of. Our consult before the color always is my favorite part. Tina is so knowledgeable in color and tones and knowing exactly what I want. I trust her completely and always get out of the chair with hair I love. Yes it’s a long process and expensive but so totally worth it. I’ve relocated to LA now and fly up twice a year to make sure Tina is still the only one touching it. She’s a magician and I hope to never need to find another stylist.

It was December 2023. It was almost a year since I got my hair last done and cut. My roots grew out. My hair was now super brassy and in desperate need of a haircut. So, I went to Duet Salon thanks to a friend’s recommendation. Duet Salon has a variety of hair stylists to choose from and what services (along with prices) each stylist provides. Out of them all, I picked Nonnie as my hairstylist. She was thorough when asking about my hair and its history. When attending to my hair, she treated it with much-needed love and care. She also provided me with hair advice as well as knowledge on what hair products to use/avoid. She even made sure I was comfortable and offered me drinks and snacks. Overall, she was very accommodating and fun to talk to. In total, the process took about 6 hours, but it was 100% worth it! My hair not only looked so much better but felt healthier and softer than when I came in. All in all, I had a great experience and will come back again. I HIGHLY recommend Duet Salon and choosing Nonnie as your hairstylist!

I’ve been going to Duet Salon for about a year and a half now. Mai always does my hair and she does a wonderful job with the color and styling of my hair! The atmosphere was pleasant, and there were lots of smiles and conversations. I recommend taking a look at their instagram before hand to see which stylist is the best for your desires, but I highly recommend Mai!

Tina did a wonderful job cutting my hair. I’m in the process of growing it out, and although the bob cut looks great on me, I wanted to avoid going too short this time. Tina was very honest about how the haircut I initially chose might look with my current hair length. I appreciated her candor. Realizing it wouldn’t turn out exactly like the photo I showed her, I was amazed by how Tina’s skills still made it work beautifully with the length I had. I also valued her recommendations on styling and coloring.

My experience meeting the stylists at Duet Salon was extremely warm, professional, and kind! I highly recommend Zaneta, she listened to my concerns and thoroughly assessed my hair throughout the entire process of dyeing my hair. I have had my hair dyed by different stylists in the past, but nothing beats Zaneta’s artistic and magical touch. Thank you Zaneta!!!

Had my digit perm since COVID last, I am so impressed and happy with the results! Highly recommend it!
