Dr. Joni Mazza-McCrann, MD

Had my initial appointment with Dr. Mazza after bouncing around several dermatologists that I wasn't impressed with. I found her to be very professional and thourough. Also, she has a nice bedside manner that I appreciate. I will continue to use her and had a great initial appointment for what it's worth. Showed up early and was actually seen early.

I have been working with Dr. Mazza for over a year. She has great bedside manner and truly cares about her patients. I have had skin issues that were misdiagnosed by another dermatologist. Dr Mazza found the correct course of action and treated my skin issues accordingly. I would highly recommend her.

My family loves Dr. McCrann! Sad to hear she left MUSC would love to follow her if she stays local. If anyone knows where her new practice will be, please share! She's the best!!

I have had 2 appointments, well actually one. The second one I left after waiting 50 minutes. The first appointment was in Mt Pleasant. I waited slightly more than a half hour past my scheduled time. This was a 9 am appointment. Shouldn't be that far behind that early. It was a routine checkup, but turned out not to be a good checkup. Several things bothered me which she provided no solution for. Later I asked my doctor for a referral . They got me an appointment in West Ashley, which I had to wait almost a month to get. I did not realize it was the same doctor. It was a 9:45 appointment. At 10:40 I left without seeing the doctor. While I was waiting an elderly lady came in and said she was early for her appointment and could they squeeze her in. She got seen before me. I have a job and a schedule . To let a retired person slip in, in front of me was unacceptable. The quality of medical care and just plain courtesy is lacking in this office. I would strongly recommend not using this practice. I later found out that they billed my insurance company for a surgical procedure for the day that I was not seen. Seems very disreputable to me.

Dr Mazza has treated both of my children several times. She is very professional and is wonderful with them. We have never waited long to see her.

Dr Mazza is very nice. I was really scared at my first appt. I suffer from body image issues an was scared at first appt and had to get a biopsy an was scared but dr Mazza was so nice she talked me through it and made it not as scary she is a really nice dr

Dr. Mazza-McCrann is the absolute BEST!
