Dosirak Express

The galbi beef here is excellent. Presentation also well done. Fast casual Korean food that really hits the mark. Looks like it may be family owned or run. Authentic Korean food prepared by authentic Korean ladies. Not too much seating inside though and the chairs are hard, not comfortable.

Authentic Korean food experience. We tried the Pork Dosirak, Tofu Dosirak, and spicy chicken bowl. The food tasted good and the sides were amazing. We can also buy the sides from the shop.

We ordered the bulgogi and the galbi dosirak boxes which were like large deluxe bento boxes. Each box included the main meat selection, a large serving of rice (which they graciously offered to split 1/2&1/2 with salad), 2 of their meat/noodle fried dumplings, 3 small servings of banchan/veggie pickles, and a scoop of japchae/glass noodles. This box was a generous serving of food. As pictured, the fork is extra large... It's lots! I want to go back to try the Kimpap. We especially liked their dumplings and galbi was tender and delish!

Delicious, fast casual Korean food. I usually get the #2 Galbi Dosirak. Their Kimbops are delicious. They also sell refrigerated soups and sides.

The good - service & nice to go packaging with sauce even taped to cover of bowl. The bad - chicken or beed in the Bimimbap is less than if you cut up a slider. And you can’t choose tour own sides, it’s pre-packed. CA Gogi at UCI Center is way better.

The pictures say it all. I ate literally everything, down to the last grain of rice. Extremely tasty short rib dosirak. It was quickly prepared, very filling, and extremely cute presentation. Food is very average. Prices are quite high. All food is packaged to go even if trying to dine in. No options to get plates or dine in unfortunately. Food was not as good as reviews lead one to believe. There is seating outside but what’s the point? The food is already packaged to go in a bag and sealed plastic container.
