Dermatology Center of Wellington

I normally look at the reviews 1st before I visit any doctors office, I have been told that Dr. Strong is good at what he does, and I wanted to try him out. I have to say that my visit was very pleasant and the girls in the front desk are great. They helped me with my complicated insurance and explained to me the copays and co-insurance. The front office is very kind and very professional. I did enjoy my visit and I will be referring all my co-workers to this office.

I found this laser special which is good. I made my first appointment and it was good. But then as I started to make my monthly appointments for laser, the scheduling people do not know what they are doing. First off they scheduled me but forgot to add me to the computer system so when I get to their office , they could not see me. I gave them another chance because everyone makes mistake. However, this scheduling issue happened again and again. Apparently no one in this office can be held accountable for booking. Please find another dermatology center where people respect your time and your effort to get there.

I made an appointment with this dermatologist and when I showed up, I was told my appointment would be anywhere from $140-$288 depending on what the doctor wanted to do I have insurance and I know for a fact, my co-pay is $50 for specialist. The front desk lady proceeded to argue with me and said she couldn’t give me a proper price until I saw the doctor. I ended up walking out and calling my insurance and sure enough if they told me it should only be a $50 co pay. I ended up going to a different dermatologist today and sure enough it was a $50 co-pay… so either these people are scamming patients or they just don’t know what they’re doing. Steer clear!!

It took me a wild to find a good dermatologist. I was scheduled with the PA Lucia. Very understanding, listen to all my questions, very thorough with her skin check. I’m very impressed with her team. No waiting time. The only downside is the reception. Not pleasant.

My sons and I have seen Melissa for 15-20 years. She is a wonderful caring great hearted human and even better dermatologist. She is extremely thorough and can feel the tiniest little areas on the skin through gloves that need attention. Now that my sons are grown and have children of their own, they still go to see Melissa on a regular basis. One son has moved away, but always makes his appointment to see her while visiting. I've never waited an exceptional amount of time, maybe 15 minutes at the most, but if I am a few minutes late, she still sees me. I am grateful to have such a wonderful medical team member. I wish I could say the same for all of my doctors!

Our family is new to Dr. Strong's practice. I had made an appointment for my husband back in early November and there was about a month wait to get in to see the doctor. Honestly this doctor is worth the wait. Husband needed to have a suspicious spot on his head checked. Check in with reception was quick and easy. There was about a 45 min wait to be seen but that wasn't unreasonable. Dr. Strong checked hubby from head to toe. He took the time to answer our questions and did a great job of offering options on removal and treatment. Thank you Dermatology Center of Wellington for a great experience!

I had a terrible experience with this practice. For my 2nd visit, I was assigned a different specialist who misdiagnosed me, performed 4 unnecessary biopsies and left me with scars for no reason. A second opinion confirmed I was never a candidate for these procedures, and they should not have been done in the first place. To make matters worse, I've now received an unexpected bill from the pathologist, despite being told I wouldn't owe anything. Very frustrating and disappointed - I would never return and DO NOT recommend this provider/skin center.
