Cranbrook Academy of Art

The Cranbrook Art Museum is a masterpiece of Mid-Century Modern design and a true sanctuary for creativity! Designed by the legendary Eliel Saarinen, the architecture itself is a work of art, especially the iconic Peristyle walkway that beautifully frames the campus. The rotating exhibitions are always thought-provoking, showcasing everything from cutting-edge contemporary pieces to the historic legacy of the Cranbrook Academy of Art. I loved exploring the Art Collections and Research Center, where you can see thousands of objects in "visible storage." Walking the grounds to see the Triton Pool and the various sculptures integrated into the landscape is incredibly peaceful. It’s an essential destination for anyone who appreciates design, history, and innovation!

My friend Clarence went here, back then he lived at home with both parents , and Clarence parents have a real good marriage..

About 25 years ago Professor Shuichi Murakami, a graduate of Cranbrook, took his photography class from Kellogg Community College to Cranbrook for a tour of the residence, the then new ceramics lab and other educational facilities and gardens. Professor Murakami continues to teach at Western Michigan University.

Clarence went to Cranbrook. Clarence lives at home with both parents, and Clarence's parents have a real good marriage.
