I just did a cooking class there with my sis and absolutely loved it. We made chicken risotto, bitter green salad, and a peach crisp skillet cookie. I would definitely take another class here. They were so organized and the staff was great. Our chef Victoria was also super knowledgeable and fun.
Best ham and cheese croissant I’ve ever tasted. The staff was really nice too ! I tried a few other treats as well and all of them were just as yummy! Will be stopping by again on my next trip to Minneapolis!
Excellent! This is my new coffee spot. The staff is amazingly friendly, the coffee is brewed perfect, and the pastries are delicious. You can shop for kitchen gadgets, jams, and sauces while you wait for your coffee. They have a few indoor tables for two and plenty of sidewalk seating. The coffee/kitchen store are openly connected to the bakery so you can watch the pastry chefs making fresh pastries. Worth the walk if you work nearby and worth the commute for the kitchen store and pastries.
The chorizo breakfast sandwich is life changing and one of the most elegant breakfast sandwich I’ve had. The crepe cakes are also my favorite indulgent treat in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and something that cannot be found elsewhere. The vanilla crepe cake is excellent, but their season crepe cakes are even better. They can shift and lose form if you get them to go and don’t secure them in the car.
Talking with Thomas about the history of this place was a pleasant experience! Brought my two little ones with and they loved watching the Chef, Katie and crew cook some food and pastries! I mainly came because a friend had me try one of their pastries and wow I was hooked! The breakfast sandwich was delicious, along with the vegetables panini, the lavender Miel latte and macaroons! They also have very cool and unique things for those who love cooking/baking! What a cool place!
Great pastries! The macarons are hit or miss; I have had some great ones and some bad ones. The croissants are amazing! The kouign amann is worth a try along with the monkey bread and muffin. The pastries are priced accordingly with other patisserie locations in the metro; however, the hospitality charge makes a $5 croissant increase in price very quick, so be aware.
I liked their place in Wayzata and they moved to NorthLoop with pandemic into cooking ware store. So it is basically in the store. As I am craving for European bakeries, I like here. Because there is no options in this area. They have awesome croissants. They also have some selection during lunch like bowl, wrap or soup. I love croissants, breakfast sandwich and salmon tartine. They are a bit pricy and add 15% on top. They have few tables inside in winter. Summer is better as you can sit outside.
