An amazing location in Colorado for halal savory and sweet treats as well as a wide variety in coffee and now Adeni chai as well! Every time we walk in, we’re greeted with warm welcomes. They’re the first to have honeycomb bites! Their adeni is spot-on! There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Love that they’re open late and they have a prayer space. Perfect for chilling, hanging out with family and friends and for working on school/work related tasks. There’s no place like coffee story! Definitely a Colorado special 🫶🏼
Always one of my favorite spots to stop at when I'm coming down Havana. With the country in the state that it is in, this is a very welcoming environment, and it warms my heart to see that they have a dedicated prayer room for customers to use. Their menu is pretty extensive but not to the point where anything seems unauthentic. The mochi donuts are always a delightful treat and they always have new selections when I come in. PS, the dalgona coffee is awesome
I recently visited this amazing café, and I can't say enough good things about it! As a self-proclaimed coffee snob who has explored many cafes in Denver, I was thrilled to find such a diverse menu featuring an impressive selection of coffee, matcha, and tea options. The highlight of my visit was the Spanish latte It perfectly balanced rich flavors with a creamy texture, making it one of the best I've ever tasted. this café stays open late until 11 PM, which is a rare find! What truly stands out is the cleanliness of the café. Every time I go, I'm greeted by the delightful scent of freshly cleaned floors, which adds to the overall welcoming atmosphere
Very cool, clean, and chill place! Their food and drinks are always amazing. Every time I come here I try something new and am literally never disappointed. The lavender honey latte and honey cheese croissant are my current faves. LOVE this spot. Mochi donuts always fantastic. 100/10 recommend!
First time yesterday (chicken caesar/avocado toast was delicious) didn’t get a pic of the lotus milk cake because my sister devoured it before I could lol. Service was great, my only complaint was my avocado toast came out with no balsamic on it I went up to ask if they can put it on since it’s stated on the menu the guy behind the counter insisted that the menu does not show balsamic for the avocado toast only the mozzarella panini. I explained to him that it did show for avocado toast. There was a little back and forth(he wasn’t mean about it)but he ended up putting it on for me. He did come around the counter and look and the menu, which I have pictured… but he didn’t say anything to me about it… not even an apology for making me feel stupid after asking twice. It’s important a business knows their menu inside and out.
Rarely do I ever visit a coffee shop and they get the coffee just right. It’s usually not sweet or strong enough, but this is not the case here at Coffee Story. I was stuck between the Uber Matcha and Spanish Latte. The barista said both were equally sweet drinks but wasn’t able to recommend clearly between the two. I decided to go on a whim and try the Spanish Latte and I’m so glad that I did. It was strong yet sweet, a perfect combo. I could literally drink it everyday and considered going back tomorrow. Maybe I’ll try some of their other drinks in the future but the Spanish Latte has me in a chokehold right now.
Coffee Story is my favorite coffee shop in Denver. Sitting there truly makes me happy. It’s the first Muslim-owned coffee shop here, and it means so much to me. Being in that space makes me feel comfortable wearing my hijab. Seeing people who look like me and share similar values, without fear of being judged, is incredibly comforting. It’s more than just a place for coffee—it’s a space of peace, warmth, and community. A place where you feel seen, respected, and at home☺️🩷
