From registration process to orientation and starting classes everyone with Carrington college have been amazing. All of my questions answered, transcript was obtained no problem. It's been a while since I've been a student and it was so easy and I felt cared for when enrolling with Carrington.
My experience at Carrington College was a blessing. I was very lucky to be able to learn by very knowledgeable individuals and has a large experience in the field. Everyone from the instructors, career service team, front desk and financial coaches are on your team and willing to work with you to succeed. Thank you Carrington College Stockton for everything.
Communication was very poor when it came to staff. I almost missed my graduation, I was sent to the Wrong extern site my first day of externship. Then I was giving the wrong information about my graduation tickets… But I had great instructors. Miss Julie King, instructor of the dental program is awesome! I love her to death!
For a long time I wanted to go to school and I was looking for a trade school. I was kind of scared cause I just had my GED but this is more than a trade school everybody there is very friendly and I feel like I have a new family I love it and I’m considering getting into their AA program provide you with the tools you need and The instructors are awesome. The mentors will not let you fail. It’s like they know when you’re struggling and they greet you with open arms and gladly help I’m serious. I did not get paid to post this. lol. If you’re considering going back to school or pursuing a medical assistant or they have a lot of other things, take a look at their programs. I absolutely recommend it to anybody.
I’m a 42-year-old professional with an established career. I enrolled at Carrington College not to start over, but to expand my ability to serve others. Specifically, I’m pursuing massage therapy as a way to support domestic violence survivors in healing from trauma—an additional path that runs alongside my current professional work, not in place of it. After researching massage therapy programs across the San Joaquin and Bay Areas, Carrington seemed to align with what I needed. I started in February under the instruction of Mr. Michael Parks, and I’ll say this: the man was excellent. His knowledge, skill, and care for his students were unmatched. Unfortunately, that’s where the praise ends. Since losing Mr. Parks—abruptly, —what’s been validated is the deeply flawed and often incompetent management of this campus. And listen, I’ve worked in corporate America long enough to survive three bank mergers, so I understand that transitions are messy. But what I don’t excuse is gaslighting, disorganization, and a complete lack of accountability from every direction. Career Services? A disaster. Timelines are ignored, follow-up is nonexistent, and when appointments are missed, somehow it’s the student’s fault—even when the staff didn’t know the meeting was scheduled in the first place. That’s not miscommunication. That’s dysfunction. Also—can we talk about the lack of respect for working professionals? There is no opt-out option for Career Services, and no consideration given to those of us who already hire, fire, train, and build teams for a living. I’ve now had to sit through two resume workshops for a resume that’s probably stronger than anyone in the damn building. I’m not trying to be rude—but I’m not here to be treated like I’m fresh out of high school either. In short: I value what I learned from Michael Parks. But Carrington as an institution has been frustrating, chaotic, and frankly disappointing. If you’re a seasoned professional looking to expand your skills to serve your community—prepare to do a lot of hand-holding… for the staff.
My instructor is Mrs. Maria and she has been a thorough and patient medical assistant instructor who ensures her students understand both the theory and practical aspects of the field. Her clear explanations and supportive attitude make learning easier and more engaging. Highly recommend her to anyone pursuing a career in healthcare.
So I did the pharmacy tech program, I had a great time learning and Mrs Sean was a great teacher. I couldn't of asked for a better one, but a little over half way all of a sudden our teacher gets let go. So for 3 weeks we had no teacher. Do you think we should of got some money back or a discount. Nope still paid full price. The whole situation could of been handled more professionally. Goin to Carrington is not cheap. I think it was unfair to me and the other students that we had to go three weeks with no instructed. They had the deen sit in pretty much to babysit. Then she gets fired. Please explain to me how to you teach people to teach if u don't know he curriculum. That's what the dean said...that she teaches people to each. Sound like a bunch of B's to me. BTW if ur late more than a certain percent of time you will drop a grade. I don't understand why, when weather or not I go for 10 minutes or the full 4 1/2 hours I still get charged for being there the whole time. So really what does it matter.
