Here’s a thoughtful thank-you note for the Fresno State tour guide: Subject: Thank You for the Fresno State Campus Tour On behalf of our 3rd and 4th-grade scholars, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for the wonderful tour of Fresno State! Your enthusiasm, knowledge, and hospitality made the experience both engaging and inspiring for our students. We truly appreciate the time and effort you put into showing us around and making the visit so memorable. This tour gave our students a glimpse into the possibilities that higher education holds, and we are grateful for the positive impact you made. Thank you again for your kindness and dedication! Best regards, Dahlia mom
I came to this school and it is constantly changing. Especially with the pandemic slowly bringing things back. They are remodeling plenty and the campus is beautiful and very spread out. You can enjoy the little critters and plenty of flowers and trees to stare at. This school has plenty of history and beautiful views. Wether you came to this school or want to come to this school, it is definitely in a great centralized location with plenty of amenities both on and off campus. Bulldog born, Bulldog bread 🐾
THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ: 1. 5 star reviews only talk about the location or an event. These events were made possible by the Save Mart Center and the Valley Children's Stadium, not Fresno State. 2. The required dog days is split into 2 groups; students and guests. The prices are equal, and they oversold and denied guests. For guests, they were repeating the same message; worse, the message was intended for parents. We did get sludge for lunch; there are better and cheaper options nearby. 3. Due to budget cuts, we don't have personal tutors for our Engineering classes anymore. 4. Some of my teachers are random people pulled from the field. Zero teaching experience. 5. Some random teacher threaten to call someone if I didn't put my $800 scooter outside where there's no security. He didn't care my bike was already stolen, nor cared that there were other scooters, nor cared that I had no lock and had to ditch class. It wasn't even his classroom. 6. I hear there's issues with parking. Half a parking lot has been removed for more dorms. Are they going to reduce parking pass sales? Probably not. 7. With all these club gatherings, sports events, and random activities, Fresno State feels like it's for the privileged. If you're not married and don't have a part time job, you can participate, live on campus, or in a Fraternity home. 8. Your options for using a projector are Airdrop, VGA, or HDMI. Airdrop has failed and most modern devices use USB-C or DisplayPort. This caused many events to fail. 9. You will get spammed with emails. Gmail can't block them. 10. It's recommended that you gain experience or have a job in your field. Some of my wife's required courses require 40+ volunteer hours (her job doesn't count) and some classes are only available during school hours, aka, when she works. 11. Fresno State has a VIP program and emails about internships with no clear way to enroll/apply. 12. 17 years of fraud and misuse of funds. Faculty not surprised. Vang Vang "Fresno State has become more like a business than a school." 13. I had Calculus 3 with no book and dismal Homework that didn't help on the exams (he told us afterward since the day before exams was last day to drop). My next attempt, the teacher never set foot on campus and despite her excessive free time, I corrected more than 50% of her work. My circuits teacher was always late and always behind. We did labs and exams without learning a topic. A teacher at Clovis community told us he had straight A students take his class after they failed at Fresno State; it was that bad. I had a teacher NOT use Canvas, so we never knew our grade nor if he graded wrong. (Meanwhile, my wife was learning how to teach using technology.) Canvas said we had 40 questions per week, so I dropped a class to keep up, only to find the syllabus listing 8 problems. I messaged my professor, but he kept giving me perfect scores and said nothing. Exam questions come straight from the book. He gave me more credit for wrong answers than correct ones due to negligible things that wouldn't get me fired. A student was grading our assignments and felt I didn't deserve anything more than 10%. 14. Despite all I endured, I only failed 2 classes out of 10 in my first semester out of 4. I overestimated Fresno State. I haven't failed since, yet I'm still on probation for disqualification and they're still telling me to do better. 15. My wife had an Apple fanatic teacher. He had instructions for Apple users and couldn't help Windows users. As an engineer, our computer labs use Windows because some software doesn't work on Apple (and Windows is cheaper). 16. There's a massage class that makes you go nearly naked with strangers touching you. I'm sure there's a violation somewhere and I question the intention of the people there. Even the professor made my wife uncomfortable, so she dropped it. 17. Can't access canvas without a phone. Annoying and stupid. Just send an email like everyone else.

Beautiful place! The library is amazing! Restrooms are spacious and well maintained. Handicap accessible.
Very fun wine, grape, and raisen festival with live band, line dancing and line dancing lesson
Fresno State is running a parking scam. I bought a pass and was given a ticket. After presentating my proof I was still forced to pay. On top of that it takes at times 30 minutes to find parking. The school is failing the students. No one should need to arrive an hour early just to find parking.
