Highly Recommend Blackhawk Technical College! ​I recently had the pleasure of attending a Wisconsin Student Government event hosted at Blackhawk Technical College, and I was thoroughly impressed. The experience truly showcased the college's dedication to providing a welcoming and high-quality environment. ​From the moment I arrived, the campus stood out. It was beautiful and natural looking, offering a calming and inspiring atmosphere—a great setting for learning and collaboration. The college staff deserves special recognition; every person I interacted with was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They made the logistics of the event seamless and were wonderful ambassadors for the school. ​A pleasant surprise was the delicious lunch provided; it was a definite highlight of the day! ​Based on this positive interaction, I can confidently say that Blackhawk Technical College is an excellent institution. The combination of a beautiful campus, exceptional staff, and a clear focus on student and community engagement makes it a top-tier choice. I highly recommend it! Live your best life!

What an amazing asset to the community. If you have not seen all the enhancements to BTC you are missing out!

Would rate 0 if could. Nice campus and all but they have instructors that will literally not grade your stuff for months and have everything locked so you cant move on. You will waste days, gas, money here hoping to get stuff done. If you ask them in person flat out to grade your stuff they will brush you off. Would not recommend this school, go to gateway or literally anywhere else.

Our son attended college here and graduated last night with an Associates in Culinary. We are so proud of him!

Great teachers and students. I could really learn here. Often I hear that people flunk classes etc at other schools because they don't understand the material. However, at BTC, I was able to really grasp the concepts and further my education. Teachers are willing to help outside of class if need be as well. Only dislike is the Student Success required class...I'm a straight A student and feel this class should only be required if you have low grades or be an optional course. Overall a great school!

I had my 1st & 2nd vaccines at Blackhawk Tech. College in Janesville. It is beautiful inside & so clean. I was really impressed. Also, kudos to the Rock County Health Dept. Both appointments couldn't have gone smoother. Everyone knew exactly what to do & were very friendly & willingly answered all questions. Since I had to get the vaccines Blackhawk was the place to go.

I have never had a bad experience with a teacher here. They are always well informed and good at explaining solutions in multiple ways. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is based on the fact that they like other colleges make you take some pretty useless classes. I really didn't learn anything from oral communications and that other class where all you do is 5 classes new student success. What a waste of time. The teacher was great though. She joked about the class all the time.
