BaK 4 More

I have been coming to Bak4More for almost 5 years. I’ve always had amazing experiences. Two days ago, I went in & the extensions were not taped, so they fell out within 30 minutes. I went back the next day, and the color I had requested the day before was still bright red (which we were supposed to be removing). I was met with a really unwelcoming tone and just a really disappointing and upsetting experience. My birthday is tomorrow, and my hair is absolutely atrocious. I spent $200, I was offered a $39 refund or a complimentary shampoo. I took the refund because there was really no other option. I told my stylist I had put red dye on my hair, I showed her the box I had used & she understood. So I’d like that if there was an issue, it should’ve been discussed. I was also told (today - 2 days later) that there are waivers to sign if you have box color. Which I did not receive or sign. Therefore, I had no conversation with anyone discussing this might not turn out the way you want. So I feel bamboozled and taken advantage of. My birthday present to myself went out the window, and I am so disappointed and upset in the way I was treated with this situation. I was talked to in the most condescending way. The owner told me to take that refund and go somewhere else. There was no kindness, no apologies (aside from I’m sorry you feel this way). I was not asking for a lot. To just fix my hair I paid so much money for or to be refunded because I was not given anything of what I asked for. My bangs are uneven, my extensions that were replaced were not blended, and my hair arguably has more red than what we started with.

Today was my first visit. The shampoo with scalp massage, consultation with Kayla about future style directions, and the cut and style were just fantastic. The scented eye mask was a special little treat! Every single staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and kind.

I made an appointment for today Saturday at 12:30 and confirmed it yesterday. I received a call today at about 10:15am saying the stylist could not see me until 1pm or they could put me with another stylist. I told them I had to call them back because I had another obligation . They called me 20 minutes later again to tell me they could see me at 11:55 but would be with a "higher" stylist and would be more expensive. What upset me is that they have a policy about no shows and canceling appointments last minute but they don’t honor their commitments. In my humble opinion, the right thing would have been to see me at 11:55 and not charge me any more than originally planned since I was not the one changing the appointment. I ended up canceling. Very disappointed.

I have to advise against going here to get your hair done. I was very excited going in to take my hair from a dark blonde to an icy platinum with shadow roots. I get there and was told that it would take 2 appointments which I didn't understand since my hair was already blonde, but I'm not a stylist and uncomfortably agreed. I left that first expensive appointment with my hair not even close to platinum and overall looking like somebody whose hair had been growing out months and months as the shadow root was overextended. I go in for my second appointment and explain how unhappy I am and that I'm nervous because of how far we were from the inspo picture. I had to sign a release for any possible damages to my hair, which I wasn't worried about, and didn't end up being an issue. My hair was bleached and at that moment I knew it could have been done in one appointment like I originally thought. Had high hopes again heading to the wash station, but ended up leaving with gray hair with warm tones streaked through it and uneven roots. I was so upset. I called immediately the next day as the appointment had been one of the last of the day. They had me come back in so they could "fix it" later that week. All people that see my hair that saw it after the first two appointments can say is that it looks better. I will agree that it does look better and it is acceptable to wear in public. However, I paid over $400 and feel like an idiot, and sick to my stomach to not get what I asked for in the slightest. I think that a refund for one of the appointments should have just been offered. I'm now out a ton of money, am still unhappy with my hair, and won't be able to afford to go to anybody else until sometime in 2022. Overall, very upsetting experience. More should have been done to make this right.

I can’t express how happy I am every time I see Barb. She does such a wonderful job and makes my hair vision come to life. Could not recommend her and bak 4 more enough!

Saw Maddie H for a full highlight on my thick hair. She was AMAZING to talk to, my hair was done so beautifully with great results even after washing the following week. Friendly service, upscale results & products at suchhhhh a good price point. Bak 4 More made me feel like a VIP client instead of a burden. Even with a late appointment & long service the energy was up and the work was flawless.

Website has incorrect amounts and if you look like you know nothing about hair they will try to overprice everything you do $300 for the most basic highlights I’ve ever seen been almost 3 times and never paid that price and got more highlights prior to this visit do not book with mads! Not to mention I sat there for almost 3 hours she decides to ask me to come in early then booked just to do someone’s hair while also doing mine rushing through mine I didn’t even get it styled almost $300 is crazy most I’ve ever paid was 180 which included styling so not sure what her issue is.
