August Karaoke Box

Wesley was great in getting us booked into our room! We had a small issue with the connection in our room and he fixed it immediately and gave us additional time, making us more than satisfied. We had even more fun doing karaoke than expected and we are definitely coming back here in the future. I even plan to book a birthday here! Overall, they’re incredible and treat you like family. Have fun and support a local business! We hope to see Wesley next time.

This is a great concept but is executed incredibly poorly and unprofessionally. We showed up on time only to stand and wait for 10 minutes while the employee was on the phone. I decided to navigate ourselves to our own room only to discover it was much too small for our party size even though that is what an employee told me to reserve. There was even a sign on the wall saying we were limited to six people and we had seven. But even then, these rooms are incredibly small and the furniture is under scaled. Since we were the only people there, I asked if we could upgrade to a larger room at no cost and he said yes and puts us in a room that we liked, got settled in and then he came back and said no you can't be here my boss will get mad at me it's VIP and moved us to another room. So that's a good 15+ minutes of time we didn't get out of our two hours. Then an hour and a half in he burst through the door and says that we were half hour over and I said "No, I booked it for 2 hours." He looked confused. Every song we wanted we had to look up on YouTube and watch commercials. And settings were difficult or not able to change (like the reverb) and the employee couldn't help. We promptly left at the 2-hour mark But felt like I could have and should have asked to stay longer. And when we checked out I paid without questioning the amount but was significantly overcharged. And I have called and left messages three times to try to talk to someone about getting a partial refund and I have not had one single call returned.

When we first walked we were met with great service. One of the staff showed us to our room and explained how to set up the music. The rooms were really cool but might be too small for a big party. We had a fun time and would come back again. Staff were helpful and a cool experience.

Horrible customer service experience!! Everything was fine until we had to pay the bill where we did not leave a tip. The lady at the counter PUT HER OWN TIP. Al leased tell us about the the 18% MUSIC FEE if you want to PLAY MUSIC! The YouTube that they have for the karaoke isn’t even premium so the adds take up a lot of time. She also refused to give us the birthday discount. The website does now even show the correct pricing or say there is a mandatory tip!

It's been a few years since I've been here, I love the updates to all the rooms! I have a few suggestions that would get my friends and I there more often: it would be nice to turn down the volume of the "how to" video that always plays between songs, and more variety of songs. I know that last one may be more limited to the system they have, but I remember last time I was there they had Motionless in White and now they didn't even have the Used and a lot of disney songs. Would love to see those changes, then we'll probably go more often! Staff is friendly and so helpful, definitely amazing place!

Please do not go to this place. They automatically charged an additional 18% music fee ON TOP of the room base price. They also added a $10 tip to my small room bill when I pressed no tip. On top of that all, they purposely waited longer to tell me my time was up and told me I could finish my song before I left then charged a $10 fee for leaving the room late when they didn't warn me of any additional charges. Highly do not recommend unless you are fine with paying an additional $20+.
