Atrium Dental - Ahwatukee Dentistry

I love Atrium dental. I have been coming here since 2020 and will not let anyone else do my dental procedures. I love how this is a family business and have had both Dr. Baharak and Shahyar Foroughi do my dental work and they have done the work to perfection each time. They always let me know what needs to be done and never makes me feel like they are selling unnecessary procedures or products. They are always on time and do things very efficiently. I have had cleanings, fillings, root canals, crowns, retainer and mouth guard creation and fittings here and they make sure to do it 100% and never cut corners! The receptionists and assistants and hygienists are all be try friendly and I highly recommend their office to you and your family!

I’ve been a patient of Atrium dental for 20+ years. The dental team is fantastic, thorough, and thoughtful to my needs. The hygienist team is gentle, competent and knowledgeable. The front office staff is kind and extremely helpful. They have never offered a treatment that was questionable or tried to sell me anything. They take the time to make sure I understand the plan of care. I will remain a patient of theirs for years to come.

Dental care is fine, but expect repeated Invisalign sales pitches. The staff overall is fine, but the dentist duo consistently push cosmetic sales. At my most recent appointment, immediately after treatment— while I was still numb, uncomfortable, and being polished — the wife dentist says to me, "What is wrong with your front teeth…oh they are just like that…?" before "really recommend Invisalign" after I already declined. Something like this happens nearly every appointment, despite my repeated declines. It comes across as unprofessional and unkind. I’ve had braces before and decided I am not looking for cosmetic treatment, yet I leave each visit feeling pressured and uncomfortable. I will not be returning, as I’m not sure if this is a common experience here or if they simply see an easy sales target as a young woman. No one should be shamed into cosmetic purchases. Smiles don’t need to be Instagram-perfect, just healthy and happy! A dentist’s first focus should always be care, and if they want to mention cosmetic options, it can always be done in a more thoughtful way.

The doctors, hygienist and staff are great. I’ve always been able to get a timely appointment and the care is excellent. I have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend Atrium Dental if you’re looking for quality dental care. Update: Had my periodontal cleaning & as usual, I received excellent treatment. I highly recommend Atrium Dental.

Amazing experience for our entire family! The staff is always so kind and patient with our seven-year-old and makes him feel completely at ease. We’re so blessed to have a dentist office where everyone feels cared for and comfortable.

I found Atrium Dental doing a Google search because I have had a Venus Lake on my lip for over 15 years and had hoped to find someone who could treat it non-surgically. I had gone to dermatologists who said there was really nothing that could be done. Atrium Dental was a bright spot and their reviews were amazing. I was always trying to find lipstick that could camouflage the dark spot on my lip. This has been a boost to my self-confidence. The procedure was absolutely painless and took no more than 5 minutes to complete. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The only thing I would say is be prepared, it will look worse before it looks better. I really had no idea what to expect and at first was a little disappointed, but just give it time and it will get better as the swelling goes down. The pictures I have are day 2 post treatment, day 7, and day 14. I am extremely happy with the results, and would recommend Atrium Dental to anyone who is looking to get their Venus Lake treated.

Janell is the most professional hygienist I’ve ever had. She is very informative and educates her patients to keep their teeth in the best possible health. She’s a Diamond and an asset to Atrium Dental! They are quite a team in that office!
