Awesome college experience! Received my bachelor's degree and ten years later received a master's degree. The school is constantly evolving, adapting new learning, and staying on top of skills employers are looking for. Highly recommend taking a tour for students who haven't decided which college to attend 🤔 There are hundreds of clubs and organizations to be a part of. Getting insights on college life from current students is invaluable part of the campus tours. My son will be attending ASU soon and I cant wait to see him start his journey at my alma mater. Go Devils!
ASU Tempe campus has a pretty huge and beautiful that the students can enjoy their campus life with academics, athletics, clubs, classmates,. friends, and so on. Especially, for academics, a tutor system is so organized that any student who needs a study support can take it. One of my friends recommends me watch a football game which will be a super excited. Great college!
GORGEOUS CAMPUS w/ MODERN EDGE! ASU almost felt like it was too good to be true when my family and I drove through it. This is the definition of a college city, the Tempe Campus is HUGE. There's tons of housing, education facilities, and sports venues. Some of them are by the Town Lake! All of the buildings looked fresh and inviting. I visited during the off-season (winter break) and people were still roaming the campus enjoying the many amenities and eateries nearby (or should I say inside?). It seems like ASU is the heartbeat of Downtown Tempe, I never felt overwhelmed, I just felt this warm, scholastic pride for Tempe's esteemed campus. I definitely want to visit Mullet Arena soon to see some Sun Devils hockey!
Very modern looking school located downtown Phoenix. Several large building in the campus. Seem to have gotten donation for Walter Cronkite school of journalism.
Walking many main campus’s across the US including many large state institutions I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the main campus was via foot on a Sunday afternoon. I can’t speak for the academics or campus life but it had a lot to offer and felt unique, inviting and progressive academically. Hard to rate it overall but as a campus walk I walked away with a good impression of ASU.
If I could give less than 1 stars I would. Every aspect of my journey with ASU as an online student pursuing a Masters degree has been absolutely horrific. I am a single individual fully supporting myself, working full time trying to make a living while also pursuing a higher education. I had several instances where financial aid and financial services messed up things on my account. They were not fixed until I had to repeatedly contact them over and over again to resolve the issues that they were responsible for. I just recently had to drop a class because I couldn't afford it just to be told that I am still responsible for all of the tuition and fees of the course after dropping it. Mind you, I dropped the course less than 48 hours after the deadline. I didn't complete a single ounce of the course or engage in it prior to dropping the class. I dropped the class before the first assignment was even due. I understand policies are in place for good reason, but life isn't perfect and neither are individuals doing their absolute best to manage several aspects of life at the same time just trying to gain greater knowledge. Forcing someone to pay over $4,000.00 out of pocket for a class that they never even got to take is simply just wrong. What's even worse is that I am not able to continue to enroll until that balance is paid. So, not only do I not get to continue my education the way I have been planning, but I am forced to pay over $4,000.00 that I already don't have and didn't even get any education out of it. ASU, please do better. I hope that you show a little more empathy and care for your students of generations to come. It is clear ASU only cares about a paycheck and not their students or their education. I am writing this review because I wish someone would have told me this before I decided to enroll. Hopefully I can save someone from having the same horrible experience with this school.
Everyone that I asked or didn’t ask about ASU all exclaimed that this campus was the most beautiful. They were absolutely right! After many college visits the key highlights of ASU is its it own city. You literally don’t have to leave. It’s modernized in every way. It doesn’t boast in historical components more than its future imprint. Lastly, it’s resourcefulness. We didn’t join an official tour but everyone we spoke to from students to staff readily assisted us. It was a one of kind university experience.
