I would DEFINITELY recommend Dr. Trowers and her staff to anyone and everyone! The staff is great, the office is beautiful, and the vibe is relaxing! After months of thinking about it, I convinced myself to do laser hair removal. Actually upset with myself for waiting this long to do it. I did my second laser hair removal session on my legs with Jessica last week and I couldn’t be happier! She’s very thorough and makes sure to get every spot! Today is Tuesday and I haven’t shaved my legs since last Thursday, which was the day before my second laser session. Not only is my hair going away/gone but my legs look better in general too.

I 100% recommend Dr. Andrea Trowers, nurse AnaRita Widmaier, and the rest of her team. You can really see and feel the quality of their work. My daughter has been experiencing facial allergies for a year, and the dermatologist she was seeing diagnosed her with contact dermatitis. She received different treatments, but each time she got worse and worse. The last treatment was for a fungal infection, and her face got even worse. One day, as a mom, I felt desperate and frustrated seeing her with red, raw, and painful skin, so I decided to take her to see Dr. Andrea, and it was the best decision I could have made. She got the real diagnosis (perioral dermatitis), and we started treatment. Today, almost 2 months after that first consultation, my daughter's skin has been healing, and you can see the difference. There's still a way to go, but it's a process that takes time. Honestly, Dr. Andrea is an angel sent from heaven to help my child, after enduring a year of pain and discomfort on her face, believing in another dermatologist who wasn't the right one. Today, my daughter is better, thank God and Dr. Trowers. 🙂

Be aware! The only way a person can use their insurance is if they leave a stored credit card number with them. It is their policy. I told them that i was uncomfortable with this. The receptionist stated that the only other option was to pay out of pocket without insurance. Obviously the focus of this business is for cosmetic stuff, not medical. Shame!

Andrea Trowers and her staff are dishonest and unprofessional. I came in for what should have been a simple skin check and evaluation of a suspicious wart. I didn’t even get to see Dr. Trowers herself — instead, I was shoved off to her nurse practitioner without so much as a hello from the dermatologist whose name is on the door. They charged me $141 out of pocket (with no insurance) and explicitly told me this would cover everything, including dermpath fees for the biopsy. I made multiple calls afterward to confirm and was repeatedly assured by her staff that I owed nothing further — that the amount I paid covered the dermpath charges. Now I’m being harassed by collections over an additional $55 bill from dermpath. This practice is nothing more than a money-making factory. They lure patients in, overcharge them, mislead them about costs, and then leave them to deal with surprise bills. The staff is either incompetent or deliberately deceptive, and Dr. Trowers herself clearly has no compassion, no accountability, and no interest in actually treating patients. She runs her practice like a cold, dishonest business rather than a medical office. Save yourself the headache and find a dermatologist who actually cares about patients — because Andrea Trowers and her staff certainly do not.

Hello everyone. I had a mole screening visit last week and was seen by Dermatology Nurse Practitioner AnaRita Widmaier. I was genuinely impressed from the very first moment all the way through to the end of my visit. AnaRita took the time to thoroughly explain the different types of moles, what to watch for, my personal medical history, and the relevance of family history with skin cancer. Without me even having to ask detailed questions, she went into extensive detail about everything — from skin cancer education to mole identification and even specifics on the types of sunscreen I should be using. Her attention to detail, the care she showed during the entire appointment, and the way she made sure I felt informed and comfortable truly stood out. It was clear she not only cares deeply about her work, but also about the people she’s treating. I’m moving to Tampa soon, and I’ve already decided that I’ll be flying back to Miami once a year just for my annual screening with AnaRita. That’s how much I trust her and value the experience. If you have any skin concerns or are looking for someone compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough — I promise, she’s the person to see for an exceptional experience.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Trowers and her nurse practitioner, Anarita. They offer outstanding care in both dermatology and cosmetic treatments. The staff is warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. Dr. Trowers is highly knowledgeable and takes the time to address all of your concerns, while Anarita is attentive and supportive. The office is clean and well-organized. other reviews led me to believe I would be walking into a beautiful office. I didn’t notice anything extraordinary. the patient chair was so uncomfortable that I couldn’t sit in it. the front desk staff was very kind, but because I could hear the employee chatter from the waiting room, i felt discomfort to overhear gossip and f bombs dropped. dr. trowers seems knowledgeable, but she rushed me through the appt so fast, i couldn’t even process what happened until after i left. no medical solutions were viable for my pp acne, which isn’t her fault, but i just wish i didn’t have to come into the office, fill out a bunch of paperwork, pay $75 just to be told i can’t be helped. perhaps a more effective patient need / screening process upon scheduling the initial appointment / consult could have saved me time, money, and a litttttle heartache from getting my hopes up.
