Afghan & Indian Market #2

I stopped by here without knowing much about Indian food, the selection seems very good and the prices were very reasonable. I got some snack type foods to try and was delighted by all of them. So many fun sweets I had never experienced. They also had a selection of unique produce items and vast dairy selection. There is a whole isle of spices and all sorts of interesting grocery items like sauces that I can’t wait to explore. The employees were friendly and helpful

Made a quick stop at this store to check out their selection and it's pretty varied for such a small store. They indeed have a good variety of seed, snacks and frozen section of Arabic/Indian food. They also offer some flat breads. Did find some porota (bread) ready to cook which was a plus.

So I guess I just didn't realize I was going to be followed throughout the store when I was walking around looking for things this first time I got there first time I was ever there so of course I'm going to take my time and look, I have several people looking at me I had this one guy I'm sure he was the owner looking sadhguru, eyeballing me and walking in every aisle that I was in I was like dang! You know where are the same color I don't know why you're looking at me like I'm some kind of thief anyways, one and done, thank you but no thank you, I know this area probably has a lot of questionable people, but just because I look like I can't afford doesn't mean I can't afford, that's cool I will definitely take my business somewhere else

Great store and staff are super nice!

I walked in and saw a young girl all smiles, but when she seen me. She gave me a hateful look. Then I saw the young lady that works the register and asked where the ginger was but I could nit hear her and I told her sorry I am partially deaf, she looked at me and with a attitude and said I am deaf too. That women is very rude. I remember when the elderly couple that worked there were always friendly, But the young lady seems very upset all the time. Never happy. Maybe she should quit!!! She was rude to my husband and he has never went back there since. With her bad attitude. She is going to lose customer's.

First time there and it was so nice, my friend is obsessed with Indian foods and culture, and the store clerk was so kind to help her with any questions or items she's never cooked with before or seen. Plus, they had all the snacks I love! ♡

I noticed this, and the reviews noting a new owner, just recently. I gave it a try, as it's a little closer to home than the store I have used before. I am thrilled! The store is clean, well organized, and well stocked with a good variety of products. I was particularly happy to find some fresh items in the fridge that I had been unable to buy elsewhere. And, as others had mentioned, the owner was very friendly and helpful. This is definitely my new Indian grocery.
