Abagtha Academy

Im really blessed to have found Abagtha Academy. I love that it’s a school NOT a daycare. Every time I walk in they are learning something or the teachers are directly engaging them in a learning or play activity. I LOVE the low student teacher ratio. I toured many places and often found that toddlers were under stimulated, crying, bored, left on their own to entertain themselves. When I walk into Abagtha the toddlers are being intentionally engaged. They have an in house chef and the food looks delicious! Best of all my very opinionated 2 year old says he likes school!

My son had been going to Abagtha Academy since he was 18 months and is now 4 and in their PreK program. He loves it and learns so much. The staff is amazing and it is like a family. The classroom sizes are small and kept small which I love. We plan to continue with the Academy as they add grades. Great place for homeschoolers as well. They use homeschool Curriculum for the elementary grade. I cannot say enough great things about this place.

I highly recommend this preschool. Lisa is the 4 year teacher and is beyond amazing for my son who loves to go to school and tell me about what he’s learning everyday. They are a wonder small group and make everyone feel like family! I also like that they provide good food for the kids everyday.

My three children have been attending YDDC since February 2023 and they absolutely love being there! They love all the teachers so much and sometimes act like they never want to leave! Not only are my children cared for but academically and developmentally they are thriving! The owners Lisa and Chris are great! Together with them, the teachers and other parents it really feels likes a community and like a family! Our 4 year old will be going to another school for Pre K this year but my other 2 youngest will be here until they get ready to go into Pre-K so we will be here for awhile! A huge part why I chose is for the cleanliness and safety of the school! The classrooms also have low ratios. Which is a good thing because the teachers are able to focus on the children in small group settings and have one on one time! Highly recommend!

We have toured 17 Child Care Centers & 9 Home Day Cares in the last month trying to find the "one" place to entrust with our children. I cannot begin to put into words the disgust & shock at how some of these locations are open, yet alone how parents can leave their children in them. My husband, my mother in law & myself all toured together. My mother in law called & spoke to a lady named Michelle on the phone & was blown away! We thought it was too good to be true. Needless to say, the tour was amazing! We loved the welcoming staff. How happy the kids all were. How the staff were tending to the children & actually engaged. How none of the teachers had that burnt out "NOOOO NOT ANOTHER KID" look that we had seen so much of recently. And how they engaged with our children during the tour. One little boy in particular taking my daughters hand & leading her into the classroom to play. We had seen so much of kids with snotty noses, dirty hands/faces, dirty tables, food on floors, bugs in hallways, crying kids, unattended to. That we truly didn't know what to expect here.... but we were blown away! Color projects or crafts were actually on the walls, staff was happy. I am so very thankful we found this place. We are now 4 months in, & it's been the best decision for our family! Yes, tuition is a bit more than other places, but they provide all meals, all Curriculum, no Registration or supply fees that every other center seemed to nickle & dime for... not to mention our kids in just 4 short months come home saying the pledge, prayers, teach us Spanish & Sign Language & sing new songs to us! You will NOT regret this option! Your child is your #1 priority. ♡

We love our daycare! My oldest son is almost 2 and has been going for over a year now. He loves his teachers and the curriculum is great! The staff is so welcoming, kind and understanding. So, when we had our second we signed him up too!

I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for this amazing daycare. I was terrified to leave my son and this place has taken a huge burden off my chest. My son loves going here! Has so many friends and is learning both English and Spanish and is only 3! He knows his alphabets and how to count in both languages because of this amazing place. My son is VERY active and I was super worried, but they handle his energy with such grace and love and compassion. He also gives hugs when we pick him up. He loves it there. Trust me I plan to have more kids and no matter where we end up moving we will make the drive to take my future children here ❤️❤️
