*1/5 stars* 🚨 DISAPPOINTING DINING EXPERIENCE 🚨 My last experience here was a 3/5 stars..... welp, that changed for the worse today. I'm still frowning about my recent visit to Thai Spice restaurant. We were excited to try their dishes, but what happened next left a bad taste (almost literally! 😒). After our food arrived, I asked the server about the ingredients in one of the dishes. Instead of just telling us, she proceeded to touch the food on our plates with her fingers 🤢. Yes, you read that right. Like, who does that?! 😷 Needless to say, I lost my appetite. The rest of the food might've been good, but the service was a hard pass. I asked for to go containers, explained my disappoint in the experience (which she wanted to argue about!) I firmly requested my bill, the containers, and left the establishment: disappointed AND upset now. Has anyone else had a similar experience? 😬 #ThaiSpice #DiningFail #FoodSafetyMatters

I was in Kansas City for just three days and I found this place on Google Maps. The reviews got me curious and I decided to try. The food is amazing! I ordered a Pad Thai with shrimp. It was cooked to perfection. The music was calming and the waitress was very polite. Thank you for the experience!

This place used to be lovely I have came to this location for 6 months going on to almost a year and they changed their porportion I got a to go box of pineapple fried rice and one of my cubbies were just straight up empty and one just had a small crabarengoon. At time of this photo I had eaten just the crabarengoon It’s super disappointing as a business that you guys had stellar service and customer service but ur guys food has changed and even lessen and increase the price? I won’t be coming back

I love Thai Spice! The place is little, about 6 booths and 2 bigger tables. The atmosphere is calm and warming. The waitresses are all very kind and attentive. They make the food very fast. I've had their crab Rangoon, the sample plater of appetizers, all their curry dishes, Pad Thai, Tom Yum a Soup, Pho and The Korean Fried Chicken. I don't have pictures of all of it, but everything has been delicious! Fresh and hot! You also get to pick your spice level on every dish, mild to Thai hot! I like mine medium, some spice but not so hot I can't taste it! They also offer a spice rack if you request it, it has different spices on it and also gives you the hot stuff so you can kick your food up a notch if you'd like. Most meals also come with a bowl of steamed rice. They serve coke products, Thai Iced Tea and coffee. All the food I've eaten so far has been wonderful and I will continue to visit this little Gem of a place!

Clean, peaceful, quaint atmosphere. Service is fast and friendly. Food is perfect. Flavorful, well presented and just the right textures.

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Great lucky find on a work trip Pad Thai and the starters were all excellent

Spice levels could be more intense but the food is good! The crab Rangoon's are delicious! We liked the pineapple fried rice and honeymoon chicken on our first visit. Both were so good! There was no one inside besides us to eat so it's very quiet, I think they're mostly used to to-go orders. We tried the trio chicken as a to-go order but it wasn't as good as the honeymoon chicken. I also tried the crab & shrimp fried rice & there wasn't much crab so I'd probably not get that again. They advertise bubble tea online and on the window but they actually no longer serve it, just fyi.
