A great spot for a quick bite, this cozy Mexican-Korean fusion eatery offers a fun mix of flavors. The menu features some of the tastiest Korean street food classics like tteokbokki, kimbap, and crispy fried chicken with your choice of flavorful sauces. They also serve tacos and they’re seriously good. Our favorite was the kalbi taco. We shared a few tacos along with the chicken poppers, which were a hit. The chicken poppers come on a bed of fries, drizzled with a variety of sweet and spicy sauces. Seating is limited, but it’s perfect for takeout or a casual bite on the go.
You would never expect this to be such a cool restaurant from the street, but once you walk in the door you will love the charm and warmth. Everything about food was perfect. We had bibimbap ,fried chicken, Kimbap and kimchi fried rice and peach limeade. The service was super sweet…. Cannot beat a good waitress who brings a great attitude and had awesome recommendations. We will be back soon!
I DO NOT recommend this restaurant because of food quality and taste. I've been to several different korean restaurants at Boston during my vacation. Unfortunately, this restaurant was my least favorite in terms of food quality and taste. Tteok-bokki that we ordered didn't have a sweet flavor. Tteok-bokki sauce was thin and watery-it looked to me that it was simply diluted with spicy pepper paste. In addition, almost half of them were cabbage and there were no other vegetables or fish cakes. Also, spicy pork in taco that we ordered didn't taste spicy- the pork was not marinated well and haf a weird taste. Expecting from good ratings on Google review this restaurant was a disappointment to me.
Service was quick and food quality are quite good for the price you paid. Food portion are huge, we ordered the Kimchi fried rice, Bibimbap and the taco. We still can't finish it with three people. We did dine in but the place was packed, we had to wait for people to leave before we can dine in I highly recommend ordering takeout since the restaurant is small.
Bibimbap in the hot stone bowl tastes amazing!! Now the restaurant has switched to the heated version — it’s absolutely fantastic! Applause to the owner for this great decision! 👏
Coreanos is a Korean and Mexican fusion restaurant right outside the heart of Packard's Corner. The service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable for the portions they give. The seating is minimal, but they do offer take-out and are quick with their service. I got the Kimchi fried rice, Bulgolgi taco, Pork Katsu Kimbap, and Chicken Poppers. Overall, the portions were good for the price, and the food was excellent. The Kimchi Fried Rice had a large portion and was filling, and it came with a choice of meat which was good to pair with bulgolgi or pork. The bulgolgi taco was flavorful, and came with a lime that added a nice zesty flavor to the meat. The pork katsu kimbap was nice, though some of mine weren't rolled tightly and fell apart, but that wasn't that big of an issue. Overall, a great restaurant to get food at with reasonable prices.
I was genuinely excited to finally try authentic Korean fried chicken, but this was hands down the worst takeout I’ve had all year. The chicken was dry, flavorless, and clearly not fresh - it tasted old and reheated. It was so tough we could barely chew it, and halfway through, we became concerned it might make us sick. We ended up throwing the entire order away. Just take a look at the photo I attached - you can literally see how stale and dried out the meat is, with no juices whatsoever. It’s honestly shocking that any restaurant would serve food in this condition. Unfortunately, this was my first and definitely last order from Coreanos.
