MoDak Korean Chicken 모닭

They served one of us our order and we had to let them know they forgot to add ramen and cheese so they took it back for several minutes to make the ramen which means the food was sitting out waiting. Very odd decorations with bugs landing on our food. $3.50 for a Korean milk drink that ended up just being a carton of flavored milk like for kids. After seeing the milks we asked if they would be able to take it off for another drink which they weren’t willing to do. Overall the food was fine, nothing special and overpriced.

Had this on my list for a while but they open a tad later then most spots so haven't had a chance till now. Overall very solid chicken with great lunch pricing. Lots of extra stuff too and the store itself while small is pretty neat. Parking is miserable though so be wary.

I really love their wings. Whenever I buy fried chicken, I always go for wings. Don't know much about other sauces but savory soy and yangnyum are my favourites. Also like their dolsot bibimbap so much more flavourful than normal bibimbap.(forgot to take the pic tho) two days ago my roommate bought the veggie kimbop and she liked it too.😋

As a regular customer at Modak Korean Chicken, I can’t help but rave about the consistently amazing experience I have every time I visit! The chicken is always perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and the flavors are out of this world. I’m a big fan of their signature sauces – each one packs a punch and perfectly complements the chicken. The customer service is top-notch, always friendly and attentive. I also love the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Whether I’m grabbing a quick bite or dining in with friends, Modak Korean Chicken never disappoints. Highly recommend to anyone craving delicious, flavorful fried chicken with a Korean twist!

I’ve been eating their tofu soup for months. it’s become my go-to meal. And honestly, no kimchi compares to theirs. It’s just so good. Definitely planning to try more of their dishes soon.

Ordered to-go a 20 piece boneless and fries. I had to use DoorDash because their website ordering site was not working, when I got my order I was confused because it was one small box. It was the chicken with fries sprinkled on top, I paid an extra $4 just for like 10 fries to be thrown on top of the chicken. And then I of course love having the radish that goes with Korean chicken, they gave me 4-5 pieces in a tiny container, I guess I should have ordered extra but it was $6 I figured they’d give me atleast a serving for the chicken I ordered. The taste was good the sauces were great but serving size and amount paid I don’t think this will be my number 1 pick when wanting Korean chicken.

Nice vibe inside, but the food was not great value. The chicken wings were really small and the fried mandu were pot stickers the size of linglings. Vons and Bonchon blow it out of the water at the same price. The chicken itself was not breaded using the typical batter and got really soggy after 10 minutes in the car, something that doesn't usually happen with korean fried chicken, which stays crispy even when it gets cold. Also, I asked for the least spicy option for the yangnyeom sauce and it was still barely tolerable for me (I often get yangnyeom sauce, so I went in expecting something similar). I paid $37 for something worth more like $18 and it was going to be $50+, but I got sticker shock and backed up. After suffering through the spicy chicken, I still had to eat some more food to actually fill up. Not really worth it unless they fix the food. You can't be expensive and stingy at the same time if you want to survive as a business.
