Solid food. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. It’s a cold winter day and we were looking for something warm to eat. Woodam provided that with a warm atmosphere. The service was very friendly. We ordered the Galbitang and Gukbop - both of which were really good and exactly what we were craving. The Jeju Fizz, we ordered out of curiosity and it reminded me of Korea. PS. They gift you a plate of mandus when you write a Google Review! They were also really good!!

This was my 4th time coming to Woodam and I honestly keep coming back for a reason 🤣. The food is consistently delicious and comforting. I always order the collagen gomtang — it’s so rich, hearty, and packed with protein! But the best part of the meal is actually the variety of side dishes. They always have several different and unique banchan, and they’re not just the standard ones you see everywhere. Danny was our server and he was incredibly attentive and friendly. He was knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and was very professional throughout the meal. Definitely one of my favorite spots for Korean soup — highly recommend!

I’ve been here a few times and it’s safe to say that the food, customer service, and interior are spectacular! It’s a comforting place to be in and eat during cold winter days. The staffs never fails to give generous portions of food and quickly make delicious side dishes along with the main food. They made sure to check on us from time to time to see if we needed anything! The interior is elegant, fancy, and very clean. I highly recommend coming here to eat!

Came here as a late night craving for korean food with my mom. Got recommended the sogogi (beef) gukbap spicy version. This taste like it came straight from korea. Specifically 경상도. It was amazing. Staff is very friendly and the interior is well designed and the prices are very kind. Especially compared to the other similar restaurants in the area. I heard from one of the servers that the restaurant is run by a chef owner who learned under Jean-Georges! Very nice. Im a tourist but if I were a queens local. This would be my go-to spot.

The galbijjim was phenomenal! I recommend adding the mozzarella cheese. Lava rocks are also 10/10. The rosemary aoli pairs well. The best banchan was the broccoli with peanut sauce. Our server John was helpful in explaining the menu. The complimentary hot tea is a nice touch.

Third time coming here! I've tried pretty much every dish at this point since their menu is small but yummy. My favorite has to be the collagen soup and the jeju fizz drink. Tried the crab for the first time since it's a new (limited?) dish and it's yum-yum for anyone who likes raw blue crabs marinated in soy sauce. All in all, a great place to hit up for some good beef based soup.

Absolutely phenomenal! I have tried so many Galbitang but this one is definitely the best so far. Me and hubby love it so much, we sit at thr bar and so cool to see how the drinks are make. We both finished the soup portion, a lot of meat and banchan is soo yummy. The yuju friz drink is also gun to drink and delicious. The lovely server absolutely make the whole experience top notch, so friendly and helpful with her recommendations and knowledgeable on the food. We will comeback for sure!
