Dermatology Center-Wellington: Strong Lawrence A DO

This is one of the most dishonest and unprofessional dermatologist offices in Wellington. They submitted an outrageous $565 "new patient" charge to my insurance for my daughter, even though she is an existing patient and has been seen there before. They used her same chart and provided the exact same type of visit as all previous appointments, yet suddenly coded her as a new patient without any explanation. At checkout, no one—the doctor, office manager, or staff—disclosed that there would be an additional $265 charge. I was completely blindsided when I saw the claim. When I questioned it, they refused to take any responsibility and simply said it was "their policy." I never signed anything agreeing to a new patient fee, nor did I complete any new patient paperwork for my daughter. This feels extremely shady and misleading. Nothing about the visit was different from prior appointments, except how they chose to code it so they could charge more. It appears they intentionally misclassified the visit to collect more money from both my insurance and me. This is not only bad practice, it’s unethical. What makes this even more concerning is that after leaving the office and voicing my concerns, other patients in the waiting room said the same thing had happened to them as well at this practice. I would strongly caution anyone considering this office to look for another dermatologist practice.

This is the worst provider. 1) the wait is unacceptable, I waited 1h plus before the Doctor could see me, noted that I came on time for my appt. While he was seeing me, he was seing another patient in another room, and jumping from room to room, pero su profesionalismo desaparecio. 2. They overcharge you, my first visit, they bill my insurance $ 565 and when I came back to my second visit, they told me that they had put the wrong billing code, I have to pay $ 100 more. I realize it s a pattern with them, always charge $ 100 more (that's stealing). 3. Staff is not professional at all, worst customer service ever. They are rude, look like they don't even know what they are doing or just careless... If you want good cx service, don t go there.

Absolutely love Dr. Strong and his office. Efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. My husband, my daughter and I, all trust Dr. Strong with our dermatological health.

The initial visit went well. However they try to over-bill and charge more than what the insurance negotiated rate is. I called my provider and they gave me the breakdown of charges and they charged me an additional $100. Called two weeks ago and asked them to contact me to discuss and Im still waiting. Furthermore I had two biopsies done for possible skin cancer and was told results 1-2 weeks & its been 3 weeks and ive left messages with the nurse twice and with the front desk again today. Lets see if anyone has the decency to call me back ! 🤔🤔🤔🤔 UPDATE **** They called back Friday to tell me the labs have been down? I was told that Monday I would be a priority call and would have results- today is Tuesday and still no phone call. 👎🏻 .

I’m not one to write reviews, but Dr. Strong and his staff are very deserving. The care I received left me impressed. I was a new patient, yet they treated me like I was family, even finding a way to fit me in the same day when I found myself in severe pain. So accommodating, so friendly. Dr. Strong will immediately make you feel comfortable, and Sally is a gem! I highly recommend Dr. Strong and his staff.

Dr. Lawrence Strong makes my twice-a-year dermatology visits actually very pleasant. First, he’s very friendly and engaging, but, more importantly, he gives me all the time I require. (Never rushed or hurried.) Second, he’s very thorough. When I leave, I feel that all of my concerns were addressed. (I’ve been to more than a few dermatologists, and I can assure you that this is the best-run office (with a very courteous staff) that I’ve ever been to.) The other associate dermatologist is Dr. Stacy Rosenblum, equally as competent. I very strongly recommend this office. You won’t go wrong choosing either dermatologist; they’re both great!

I wrote a raving review of Dr. Strong when my daughter and I saw him 6 months ago, and after seeing him again this morning, I would like to write another one. I went to see Dr. Strong this morning because two "spots" developed on my arm, and with a history of cancer, I was worried. Dr. Strong examined and treated the spots, and took the time to reassure me that I was not facing cancer. Taking into account my history of cancer, and without my having to even ask, Dr. Strong proceeded to do a full head-to-toe checkup (which I was not scheduled for). He found and preventatively treated things that I was not even aware I had. Besides being grateful to Dr. Strong for the time that he spent on my care, I am also very appreciative because it is clear to me that Dr. Strong prioritizes patient care over seeing as many patients as possible. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Strong to anyone that wants a smart and caring doctor who will go above and beyond to make sure you are receiving the best care. Just note: you might have a long wait in the waiting room as Dr. Strong really takes his time with his patients. Please be patient and understanding as you will also benefit from Dr. Strong's generosity with time. He will never rush you or overlook anything, and you will always leave feeling confident that you received the very best care. He is also super friendly and very nice! That's a bonus.
