I was really nervous to have these spots looked at. Been a tough year. From walking into the door and checked in. Sat for only a few minutes. A really lovely young lady came and got me. She was so kind and caring made me feel more comfortable while she went over my medical . Jock came in a few minutes later and we went over everything. The young man that gave me lidocaine was incredibly nice and sweet. Big smile. Even though it hurt he did a great job. Jock was so easy to listen to and he was very detailed about everything. Very compassionate about these spots and explained everything. The nurse that cleaned and bandage was very nice and very good. She explained all the details of care The whole experience was a lot better than I thought it would be. They made it very smooth and friendly It's hard to find a doctor and staff that have compassion for what they do. This is the place!!
I was seen by Amanda for almost a year for warts that were resolved when I quit coming here to went to a different clinic. The medication my new dermatologist prescribed me has gotten rid of the problem in about a month. Unbelievable ineffective and expensive treatment. I had given up on treating them because it was unsightly, painful, and exhausting. I had painful blisters that would get secondary infections only to have the same warts return and be told to keep applying the prescribed medication. A year later, I was simply baffled when my new medication started to get rid of warts within a week that I had been trying for a year to get rid of. I will absolutely recommend this place in the future as place to abaolutely avoid. You guys are wild to try and go the discredit route. The last I reached out, you were extremely unreasonable by refusing to backdown from charging a second appointment fee ON TOP of the appoinment I had come in for when I had a reaction caused by a medication your office had prescribed for the warts I was again being seen for that day. At no time was i told by Amanda tjat there is a 30-40% chance of success, and she had me on the same medication the whole time. Never once offered something else! Even more reasons I'm glad i found a different derm, so thank you for reassuring my decision to throw the towel in on you all. Notice how I am not giving a specific name of your competitors even though you want to discredit my review be ause I have privacy settings set. I dont care who other pekple see, I encourage them to not see you. I can absolutely tell by the tone that this was written by Dr. Owsley's wife who is the administrator or whatever it is to feel important, and who I have spoken with multiple times. Orrr, maybe it's the main receptionist whose attitude is typically frosty enough to freeze the parking lot in late July
They have been great for me but messed up pretty bad with my Daughter. If you get a mole removed I would ask about getting dissolving stitches. Our kid got the regular kind, got them removed after 2 weeks as prescribed. Few days later wound opening up and she is now forming a keloid scar... cool. Seen them again today and they recommended vinegar. After losing faith in them took her to urgent care and they said the staff should have done the dissolving stitches. Now we are getting antibiotics and a cream for the scar. For me they have been great but hurts when your child is in pain and not healing right but luckily she is young and the scar may subside. The urgent care said depending how bad the keloid scar gets, might have to do plastic surgery. Also my name is an alias, its Scottish. Update: Got a call and the staff was friendly and said "They were pretty sure as she put notes" as to them doing underlying stitches. However, our retired EMS friend that worked at surgical clinics and of course hospitals. Was their that day and recalls only seeing the non-dissolving stitches applied. My primary objective is to heal my little girl, not trying to place blame. If a mistake was made, let's get passed it. Let's heal my child and not have her have something she will be conscious about later in life. May have a follow-up update depending on how things play out. Just trying to keep everything fair. This place has always been great and very quick to see any of my family. I had 1000 percent confidence in them and have recommended them to others. I’m just concerned about my daughter. Maybe the underlying stitches were applied and things just happened. It just hurts seeing my child unable to do her sport, participate with her classmates, and dealing with pain. It’s tough as a parent.
I’ve been coming to this clinic for several years, and the staff are always professional and highly competent. Amanda is both efficient and thorough, she consistently takes the time to prioritize my comfort and safety before each procedure. She does her best to address all my questions and is never afraid to consult Dr. Owsley when needed. As a healthcare worker myself, I understand that providers are often juggling packed schedules, bouncing between rooms, and documenting everything meticulously to meet legal/billing standards. Despite this, I truly appreciate the care and effort the team here puts into every visit.
First time ever at a dermatologist and they were recommended by my physician, and I want to say that the people were very friendly and my doctor and his staff, nurses and all were very professional. And very courteous, and I'm looking forward for a long relationship. Thank you for all that you've done to make my first ever. Dermatologist, appointment a pleasure. Thank you very much, Mr. James white.
Doctor and assistant both great!!! A longer wait than usual or I would have rated 5 stars.
Felt like I was just a number to them. They were very fast and didn't want to discuss anything. She looked over some moles and said lets do surgery and get them off. To me they just wanted the money. I got a 2nd opinion and so happy I did, because they were not worried about the moles and let me ask questions and talked to me like a person and not a number.
