West Bloomfield Dermatology and Mohs is the best! Dr. Lindsay Sklar, is my doctor, and she is very thorough, patient, kind and has a cool sense of humor, too. Dr. Sklar is the whole package. Several years ago, she found basil cancer cells on my back and performed successful surgery. Her Staff, Technicians and Assistants are courteous and helpful and I enjoy a positive experience every year. I highly recommend this outstanding practice for your future needs.

This office is amazing. From the girls at the front desk to the assistants. I was blessed to see Dr. Hwang. Her bedside manner and ability to make you feel at ease were wonderful. She professionally and kindly answered all my questions. I will never go anywhere else again. And Rachel her assistant was such a wonderful addition to this whole experience. I had an amazing experience at Dr. Sklar’s office yesterday. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel right.at home with their warm smiles and genuine welcome—it’s rare to find such a friendly and inviting atmosphere in a medical setting. They were incredibly punctual, getting me in on time and no sooner did I enter the exam room than Dr. Sklar appeared, providing her usual thorough, knowledgeable, and top-notch medical consult. She took the time to explain the coming procedure and push my fear to the sidelines. I highly recommend the Sklar team for anyone needing dermatology care.

I want to take a minute to give credit where credit is very much due. Last week, I had to take my son to a new dermatologist after finding a spot on his back that immediately set off every internal alarm I have. I don’t mess around when it comes to my son and his skin. After watching my mom battle and ultimately lose her life to skin cancer, this is not something I take lightly. Our regular dermatologist no longer accepts our insurance, so I started making calls. Most offices quoted waits of two months or more, which was absolutely not going to work for my peace of mind. I reached out to West Bloomfield Dermatology and Mohs Surgery, and from that very first call, everything felt different, in the best way. The office staff was incredibly kind, genuinely understanding of the urgency, and somehow managed to get us in the very next day. When we arrived, the receptionist was friendly, efficient, and welcoming (a small thing that makes a big difference). The nurse and doctor who saw my son were top-tier, calm, thorough, and reassuring. We were in and out in about 20 minutes without ever feeling rushed. They performed a biopsy, and within three days, we had results: cancer-free. It turned out to be some type of reaction. While waiting for those results, every horrible thought ran through my head, because when you’ve watched a parent suffer, your brain goes to places you don’t wish on anyone. Getting that call was an emotional exhale I didn’t realize I was holding for days. From the staff to the doctors, I cannot say enough good things about this office. Compassion, efficiency, professionalism, and genuine care, all in one place. That combination feels rare these days, and I am beyond grateful we found them. If you’re looking for a dermatology office that truly shows up for their patients, this one gets my highest recommendation.

Dr. Lindsey Sklar is very thorough during her examinations. She is extremely pleasant and very patient oriented. The office is run very well and haven’t had any issues with wait time.

Excellent care here. I saw the nurse practioner Daniel, he really listened to my concerns and was willing to discuss a range of treatment options for a skin infection, even looking up a topical treatment another physican had suggested I ask about even though he had not heard of it before. I also had a general skin check and both he and the medical assistant in the room handled it thoughtfully and made it easy for me. ( I have a mild mobilty impairment so that can sometimes make moving on and off an exam table a challenge). I appreciated the overall sense of calm during the visit and the office staff was friendly as well. Thank you.

Extremely friendly and caring staff, from front-desk to doctor/ surgeon. All procedures were thoroughly explained, and done with care. Extremely satisfied. Would highly recommend.
