Hartford HealthCare Medical Group - Dermatology

Absolutely unacceptably terrible. Called them to schedule an appointment (got a referral from a Hartford Healthcare walk-in) and sat on hold for over an hour (got the canned "we’re experiencing higher than normal call volumes" message, funny how no matter what time of day on every single day of the week it’s always higher than normal call volumes 🙄) until the call just disconnected. Have tried calling multiple days and always get the same recording without ever speaking to a real person. Whoever manages this place should be fired.

I have an appointment scheduled for 2/16/2024, got a letter to call and reschedule. Been trying for 2 weeks, left a message as requested again today. Message says they check messages every half hour. No callback yet from 2 weeks ago or today. Must be doing turn away business. Not impressed so far.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. got a referral from my PCP to HH Dermatology earlier this year to remove a cyst, & was scheduled 6 months out. This was an urgent matter, & thankfully I was able to get an appointment with HH Plastic Surgery to remove it in a timely manner instead. Later in the year, I called HH Dermatology in the hopes of getting evaluated for a few less urgent skin issues. I was told that since I had previously cancelled an appointment with them (months in advance), that they would not schedule another one with me. The receptionist I spoke to was cold & uncaring. She couldn't be bothered to look for a solution, and was completely apathetic over the phone. It's pretty surprising to me that a healthcare group would be so disinterested in providing healthcare. I am now searching for other providers within my insurance network & hopefully they will be more responsive & willing to provide the health services I need.

As others have shared I have been trying for a month to get an appointment scheduled. Can’t ever get through and no one calls back. I’m finding a new doc

Cannot get anyone to answer the phone, have been calling for days. There is an option for someone to call you back if you leave a message but that must go into an unknown voicemail. No call back. Ridiculous!

I been waiting to see a dermatologist,my primary dr send twice a referral,and they never call me for the appointment...bad service ..don't go here..

On hold for 20 minute just to be told I need a referral
