From the moment I walked into Irvine Dermatology, I knew I was in great hands. The waiting room is immaculate and so comfortable—the available coffee was a lovely, thoughtful touch that really made the wait pleasant! The front staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and easy. I was especially impressed that they keep their appointment times; I was seen right on schedule, which is a huge bonus! My consultation was wonderful. The physician/specialist was easy to talk to, very friendly, and highly informative. They took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. Overall, this is a top-notch practice—clean, efficient, and staffed by genuinely caring people. I highly recommend Irvine Dermatology!

I brought my daughter in for a skin appointment because I chose this office specifically for their advertised integrative approach to treating skin conditions. We were genuinely excited and hopeful that we could get to the root cause of her acne in a more holistic way. Unfortunately, our experience with Marjon Vatanchi was very disappointing. From the moment she entered the room, her demeanor felt cold, condescending, and standoffish. It did not feel warm or welcoming, and I didn’t even feel comfortable asking the questions I had prepared. As soon as I mentioned that we were hoping to explore more holistic options, I felt dismissed. Instead of discussing integrative treatments, she immediately recommended strong prescription medications such as Accutane or antibiotics. My daughter is young and wants fast results, but as her mother I needed to express my concerns especially regarding Accutane. When my daughter and I talked through those concerns, the doctor seemed visibly irritated that we were even discussing it. Overall, the entire appointment felt off and uncomfortable, I don’t want to throw the race card out there but I did wonder if her demeanor towards us had to do with us being Latino. I cannot say what the reason for her attitude was, but it certainly did not reflect the integrative care this clinic promotes on their website. I do want to mention that the front office staff was very kind and welcoming, which we appreciated. If you are looking for a truly holistic or integrative dermatology experience, I would recommend seeking care elsewhere. Based on our visit, this office relies heavily on prescription medications and does not provide the integrative approach they claim to offer.

Zero STARS I would give zero stars if that was an option. The morning of my appointment I was called by a representative of Irvine Dermatology and the requested credit card payment over the phone. I told them I was happy to provide this information through a secure portal. They said they only can accept payment via phone/TEXT/EMAIL. 🤯 It is mind boggling to me that an established company in 2026 could possibly offer ZERO secure methods of payment. They tried to tell me that its the same as giving me my card in person. I feel as though this is an attack at my intelligence. I realize this is just a business neglecting to assure their customers they are taking part in a safe and secure transaction, via a trusted method. Happy to never do business in this method. Id say the only positive is they "waved my cancelation fee" presumably becuase they have no method of charging me. Proceed with caution, I can't imagine patronizing any establishment that is so inconsiderate to client's security. The fact that this is an establish practice makes this even more mind numbing. ZERO STAR

So friendly, courteous and really take good care of you. Dr. Marjon is who I see for my yearly checkups and she is very caring and professional. Highly recommend her and Irvine Dermatology.

Everyone at the office, from the front desk staff to the medical assistants to the physician, is friendly and helpful and actually seems like they want to treat patients--which, sadly, is not the case in all doctors' offices. I had an appointment with Dr. Hoffman, and her bedside manner is very welcoming and friendly, and I was very happy with the procedure I had done. It is very hard to find a good dermatologist, but I highly recommend Irvine Dermatology!

Wonderful experience with Dr. Vatanchi and the team at Irvine dermatology. The front desk was very welcoming and set the tone for a great visit. The doctor herself was warm and approachable and was able solve my issue with one visit. I’m glad I found Irvine Dermatology!

Doctor Vatanchi is an exceptional physician. She took the time to listen to me and made me feel at ease throughout my visit. The office staff were also very attentive and courteous. I was attended to and seen by the doctor no more than 10 minutes each time after my arrival. Highly recommended.
