After intercepting a bill marked to my ex husband of 9 years, I notified the office that they should be billing me directly. They never changed the name on the account and all future bills went to my ex, who threw them out thinking it was just a keep in touch notice.because he had not been there in years. After over a year they sent a letter and bill with service charges to him special mail so he opened it and saw it was a bill for me. This could have been cleared up more than a year earlier if not for the idiocy of their staff. Oh, they told me I can't come back. You think I want to?

I would give zero "0" stars if available...I wasn't even able to see any doctor here! 2 months ago I called my health insurance to find a dermatologist. This place along with 2 others were given to me over the phone. So I called their office, to make an appointment. While on the phone I asked their office, to make sure, if my insurances were accepted by them. Still today, both are listed as accepted on this website. But after I drove an hour, walked 1/2 mile from where I had to park, I was told at the desk that, "No", my insurances were not accepted! There was some dispute & much confusion by the 2 front dedk employees. One said yes, my Medicare through United Healthcare is accrpted by one doctor there...that she had another patient with the same. The other woman said no, that she didn't think they accepted that one any longer. I was told by her, while she was now on the phone to reach someone there who could clear this up, that "insurance acceptance varies on a daily basis". I was upset. I said when I called their office 2 months ago, I was told yes, both my Medicare and UPMC Medicaid would be accepted! "Oh", she said, " this UPMC was JUST ADDED TO THE LIST recently" as it was written in pencil at the bottom of their "not accepted insurances". I started to cry, said I can't afford any more doctor/hospital bills. Even told them that three years ago I was in the hospital 4 times in one year! Well, I left, and cried all the way home. Now I am angry! After working 34 1/2 years, it's bad enough living on Social Security, let alone being told my insurance...that I PAY FOR...is now not accepted? My feelings are that they had my appointment scheduled, and ALL my information including my insurance info, for over 2 months! So why could someone not notify me before I drove an hour to their office, that today because of a "very recent" change in their billing, that now my insurance would not be accepted? If their billing people & scheduling people have no idea what they accept and don't accept, then they should not be allowed to run an office, period! This was extremely deceptive I feel. Did they know some insurances are no longer accepted, but intentionally keep appointments figuring they can just bill patients for the out of pocket expenses? I struggle, just as many seniors do, to pay bills, prescriptions, rent, food, etc. while now living on Social Security. I possibly have skin cancer all up & down my back, am I supposed to just lay down and die from it because I am poor and older? Now what do I do? I wasted over 2 months to keep this appointment. Will the next doctor office be as deceptive, and after another 2 months pull the same stunt? They should NOTIFY patients before they waste their time and health, and if not this should be illegal and they should be shut down! Angry? YOU BET I AM!!! UPDATE... I did have skin cancer, basal cell carcinoma. They wasted precious time for me with their foolishness! I have had 2 tumors removed so far, and still need more work done.

The doctors here overlooked a major allergy I found out I had later. It turned out the skincare regimen they prescribed to me actually had that allergen in it. So as you can imagine it made my breakout 10 times worse than when it started. Turns out changing my diet was what needed to happen. As this place endlessly told me diet has nothing to do with skincare. I guess they can’t make money off prescribing you a healthier lifestyle. Go figure.

I have been going here for years off and on. I've seen two drs primarily and been pleased with both. The staff is generally pleasant and attentive, the nurses are always nice when taking my vitals, and I feel like the dr does a pretty thorough checkup each time I'm in.

Both visits that I have had here were terrible. Today, I went because of irritating skin tags on my neck that were brushing up against the collar of my shirts. My insurance company said they would cover if "medically necessary" (ie, causing pain). I saw Dr here today who said that she would not perform the removals because she was not sure if the insurance company would pay, regardless if they were medically necessary to be removed. Do not go here.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Funt! He took the time to answer my questions and made sure we came to a solution for my acne issue and explained the next steps. He made me feel like he genuinely cared about my wellbeing by ordering some extra tests so we can get to the root of the problem instead of just prescribing a band aid medicine to cover it up.

The doctor visit went well but the billing department is awful. They applied my payment to the wrong account and then sent me a threatening letter trying to send me to the magistrate for $50. When I called, I was treated rudely even though they admitted the mistake was theirs. Not a single, I’m sorry.
