The Skin Care and Laser Center of Central Dermatology

I had a fraxil laser treatment prior to Covid and had great results. Six weeks ago, I went to this skin care center and had another fraxil treatment with very disappointing/no results. I would not invest in skin care at this office after my experience there.

The care I received from the Central Dermatology Skin Care Center was phenomenal. As a first time Mohs surgery patient, I was somewhat anxious of the unknown. From the moment I walked into the door and was greeted with a friendly smile from Juanita, I knew I was in good hands. My pre-procedure interaction with Daniel, Dr. Goldstein's assistant, who not only took the time to explain the procedure in great detail but also demonstrated extreme patience in answering my questions, was exceptional and eased my anxiety. Dr. Goldstein's professionalism, expertise and reassuring demeanor provided one of the most positive medical experiences in my life. Not only did she perform the procedure with a skill set unparalleled, she personally followed up later the day of surgery with a check-in call and addressed a follow-up question I had the following day. Dr. Goldstein and her staff are in a league all their own--none better.

First time consulting about skin care in general or laser treatment in particular. Courtney just recently joined the practice but she was professional, laidback, the LHR was efficient, effective with a 4wk f/u scheduled. Took about 10-15min in total & back in clinic with minimal discomfort and clear instructions. Scheduled a 4 week f/u, excellent experience w great providers as usual. Thank you!

Never going back to the Chapel Hill office-terrible customer service and I do not recommend them. I was trying to get my son’s laser fraxle treatment completed for a facial scar. It is important that you complete these in a timely manner. He does not live here and we had timed these apart. We hit a lot of traffic and were one minute past the 10 minute policy. For that one minute-one minute!- they would not see him even though I explained he would not be back for a year and he is flying out the next day on a 6 am flight. I also asked if they could use the ice treatment like they did by a different provider from their Cary office who did the treatment in chapel hill with the same machines and they would not do it. Such terrible customer service! You can’t make an exception for one minute under the circumstances for a customer? I do not recommend the Chapel Hill office and I will not be going back.

Great experience initially, however I’ve left multiple voicemails and called many times over the past month to schedule an appointment and have never reached a person or had a call back. I’d previously purchased a package that included discounts on touchups and I’m starting to think they are avoiding answering so that they do not have to provide the discounted service. Extremely disappointing and cannot recommend.

Tieli was great to work with for my laser hair removal treatments! The results came far faster and were far greater than I expected! Tieli patiently answered all of my questions, provided additional tips to consider, and made what can be considered an uncomfortable experience pleasant. I will definitely be back!

Excellent care, friendly, great experience! Kara has done all my treatments and she is lovely and super skilled! She takes the time to answer all my questions and always makes sure my treatments are appropriate for what I'm wanting. Very professional environment with super friendly staff. I've learned so much about taking care of my skin since I started coming here! Highly recommend!
