Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery - University Park

I just moved to Dallas and finding this place has been such a blessing. I came in today for a spot on my leg, and once again, the team reminded me why I love this place so much! Maya is always so warm and welcoming, and she helped me find the right sunscreen without making me feel rushed. Kathie and Becca made my biopsy quick and painless, listened to every concern, made me feel truly heard. Even Dr. Daniels, who I met briefly, radiated kindness. As someone who loves aesthetic treatments but also struggles with psoriasis and random skin issues, it means so much to feel genuinely cared for. This team doesn’t just provide treatments, they make me feel safe and valued. I love this entire team!

I typically don’t write anything less than a great review but I recently went to a new derm office, which in effect - shined a light on some of the pitfalls I was experiencing at Westlake. Back a couple months ago, I came in for an appointment for my acne scars. I’ve come in for a few appointments in the past as well however my experience was the same every time - minimal explanation from the doctor on my condition and subpar customer service from the receptionists. My most recent visit with them, the doctor told me they discontinued a chemical peel that would potentially help me because it wasn’t profitable enough for them. When I asked about laser, they were very transparent with me and said the laser was not "melanated-skin friendly" so it wasn’t worth spending on. Speaking with other professionals outside this office, they’ve explained to me that while melanated skin have a higher risk with laser, there are still lasers out there that accommodate for the pigmentation and if treated with proper care, it can be highly successful. This left me with a bad taste in my mouth, esp for a well regarded office in highland park. Kind of told me everything I needed to know and I gave them multiple chances. While I appreciate their transparency and willingness to semi-work with me, I hope the practice is able to continue to improve on what healthcare they have to offer to better accommodate the diverse DFW area!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rebecca Boss, PA-C was amazing! She was so gentle with my Botox, neck Botox, and lip flip. I really appreciated how calm, professional, and intelligent she was throughout the whole appointment. She explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone you can fully trust with injectables!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant. Maya, the office manager, greeted me with genuine warmth and care. My experience with Rebecca and her assistant, Kennedy, was excellent. They took the time to ask thoughtful questions, explained everything clearly, and answered all of my questions patiently. Most importantly, they made me feel that they truly cared and genuinely wanted to help. Highly recommended!

The staff was incredibly nice and I didn’t have to wait at all. This was my first time getting Botox and I was nervous. Rebecca Boss, PA-C was very gentle and informative during my visit. Kathie was also great and helped keep me comfortable and calm throughout the process. I could not be more impressed with Westlake Dermatology. Thank you guys!

I had such a great experience at Westlake from start to finish. I saw Becca Boss, who took the time to answer all my skin questions and gave me real peace of mind after the skin check I’d been putting off. She offered excellent guidance on skin cancer prevention and overall skin health, and she introduced me to Altreno—my skin has truly never looked better. I cant wait to come back for aesthetic treatments. As a bonus, the staff was able to get me in quickly, the office is spotless and relaxing, and parking was a breeze. Highly recommend!
