I chose this dentistry because of its decades-long business in Palo Alto. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but disappointment. The worst dental experience ever! I am not sure if the office know their culture or not know at all. The dental assistant called me "princess" right behind me. I was so surprised and turned back to look at her. No apology. She pretend nothing happen. The physical treatment was even worse than her attitude. Her movements were incredibly aggressive. The way she was jamming instruments into my mouth made me feel as though she were trying to thrust a sword down my throat. There was no gentleness; her speed was frantic and her strength was restless. During the suctioning, she was so careless that I ended up swallowing a massive amount of water throughout the operation. The most unsettling part was when the doctor had her prepare my temporary crown. She actually dropped her gloves on my face before working in my mouth with the kind of aggressive energy you’d expect from someone working on a farm, not a medical office. I was genuinely freaked out. After visiting many other dentists, I can say for certain that she does things differently—and not in a good way. This office may have been here for decades, but the lack of care and basic respect I experienced was unacceptable.

I’ve seen Dr. Ho for the past ten years. Dr. Ho is fantastic! Skilled, gentle, and genuinely caring. Explains everything clearly, no pain, beautiful results. Clean office, friendly staff, easy scheduling. Best dentist I’ve ever had—highly recommend!

I have been coming here for a long time. Highly recommend them. Great communication, great advice, clear explanations, friendly service and top quality work. Elaine at the front desk is always friendly and kind as well.

Palo Alto Advanced Dentists exhibited genuinely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior when attempting to secure care for my 73-year-old mother. Their administrative chaos resulted in two separate, frustrating, and frankly, appalling instances of care refusal. In the first instance, the office confirmed her appointment over the phone, presumably after checking her insurance. Upon arriving at the office, we were then told that her insurance was inactive. This was patently false, and the underlying issue appeared to be a change in the primary dentist designation. This problem should have been identified and communicated before confirming the appointment or, at the very least, well in advance of the appointment date, not at the moment of our arrival. The second incident was even worse. After confirming the appointment and validating active insurance coverage, they called to cancel one day prior without providing any reason. The insurance was active, and the provider was correctly designated. They simply refused to serve an elderly patient, leaving my mother stranded without an appointment. This series of events demonstrates a profound lack of respect for patients' time and needs, especially for the elderly. We have since switched to a new provider. I cannot recommend Palo Alto Advanced Dentists.

PAAD is phenomenal. Before I started coming here , I had really bad experiences with dentists and didn’t see one for a very long time. My son needed emergency dental work in 2009 and PAAD did such an amazing job that I decided to try it myself. Since then I have had a lot of dental work done including surgeries. All of it went flawlessly. I highly recommend these dentists!

Doctors, assistant and Staff are knowledgeable, helpful as well as friendly and considerate; keeping me comfortable and well taken care of. Palo Alto Advanced Dentists offers every, dental service my family needs. I depend on them being great, and I am never disappointed. I highly recommend becoming a patient here.

Very satisfied with todays visit. Elaine was such a great help and helped me get an an emergency appointment.she was so generous and kind great patient care. Dr.hamed I couldn’t thank her enough I had a broken tooth and she helped me fixed it. She was so gentle and explained to me the procedure and every step of the way. She took her time to make my tooth look so great. She’s a best dentist I have ever had. I will be coming back again.
