Rochester Hills Family Dentistry

This review is solely based off customer service. I called the office at 9:30am, 11/25/25 to potentially make an appointment for some fillings. I moved away from Rochester about 9 years ago and wasn’t 100% sure if this was the office I used to go to when I was growing up. I called and left a message, and was called back shortly after. The receptionist on the phone said she couldn’t find me in their system (during this conversation she had an annoyed tone in her voice as if I completely ruined her day by leaving a voicemail asking to make an appt), and so I began to explain that it’s possible I may have the wrong place, and she replied with a snarky attitude and as I was apologizing for having the wrong place, she literally hung up on me. My jaw literally dropped at how rude she was!!

I very much appreciate the services of this dental office, they are professional, friendly and very honest in the options for the patient. Dr. T is very professional and always gives the patient the best care. I highly recommend this dental practice. A few years ago I tried with a holistic practice, and holistically never worked and lost money at that practice and they did a very poor job at a very expensive price.

This is the best Dentist I have ever been to. They have helped me in multiple short notice emergencies, which I will always be grateful for. Every person working there is incredibly nice and informative.

We have been with this dental office for many years and have never been disappointed with their professionalism. Dr. Thietten is just great, as is the entire team. Terry, Amanda and Sandy are my favorites.

I am not exaggerating when I say that 5 starts to this practice is not enough! Dr Thietten had to fix the poor job my previous dentist did. I couldn’t believe how clean, friendly, attentive and amazing everyone who works here is! I went for a cleaning and told them that the cavities they filled were gone so they were able to do both things in one visit and they don’t make you come back another day or make more money out of you. Dr Jeremy Thietten is honest, respectful and caring! I really love love love this dentist! Also, their schedule is also a win, they do one Saturday of the month, also late mornings or afternoons.

I came to Rochester Hills Family Dentistry after many years of accepting less than acceptable treatment from other dental practices. Dr. Thietten and his staff is are absolutely AMAZING! Amanda was my hygienist and gave me the most thorough cleaning and attention I've ever had! She and Dr. Thietten made me aware of treatment I needed and set me up with Dr. Thomas to do the root canal. Dr. Thomas did the most amazing job and took extra time to ensure everything was the best! I would give this office a 10 star if I could! Thank you Rochester Hills Family Dentistry for making me feel so cared for! I'm so blessed to be a patient here!

If I could give Dr. James Thomas and his staff 10 stars, I would. Recently I had 3 root canals. Each procedure was painless. Dr Thomas took the time to patiently explain the best approach to my problem. Also a thumb up to his staff. They were so friendly and courteous. The whole office environment made me feel so welcome. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.
